Segments? Check. Outrage? Check. Silly voices? Check. Showing influences from a number of your favorite rambly comedic friend-based shows, the Frankenstein-esque Sweet Release is shambling along nicely. There is a nice mix among the hosts in vocal style and delivery, and they keep things moving briskly throughout. Things can be a little rough with the audio levels - when Jake gets a little on the shouty side, and Ferbs is still being quietly wry, you have to make a real Sophie's Choice with the volume. You'll probably be fine on the Anna front. This all may be moot in the future, as they just mentioned having upgraded their equipment. I'm still not sure whether the variable intro and outro music is intentionally super long as a goof, or whether they're really dedicated to making sure the listeners get to enjoy the whole song. I certainly did enjoy the recent dip into bossa nova.
