    I wrote this song (lyrics below) to challenge people to live the true principles of Christianity and not use it only when convenient. Jesus Walks Revisited By Dr. Omekongo Dibinga People pray constantly for a messiah these days Pray for lottery to even pottery these days Folks claim they’d die for Jesus cause he died for them But I wonder what they’d do if he was right beside them Would they really kiss his feet or would they step on them? Would they really wake up knowin’ they slept on him? Nah if Jesus came back, y’all would ask for ID You’d want his numbers cellphone, social security We’d treat him like they did King man, in the Boondocks We’d spend time dissin’ on his shoes and no socks If he didn’t have an address we’d be like step off kid He’d walk up in your church and folks would be all pissed Like “Who this dude comin’ here wearin’ pajamas? Ain’t even got on real shoes, those is sandals br’a!” They say though shall not judge but if we saw Jesus We’d treat him like he was less than any one of us Chorus Y’all say you love Jesus but do your actions show it? You say you’re living his faith but it don’t seem you know it I’d rather see a good sermon than hear one for real No more cafeteria Christians, we want the full meal So Jesus was gonna walk up and greet the pastor But folks said he couldn’t get too close to the master A little bit confused but he was like “it’s all good” Since they was preachin’ his gospel so they understood Sat in the back to listen to his words But then he started seeing things that was so absurd First they sat him in the back ’cause he wasn’t dressed right ’Cause the cameras was filming for the satellite Viewers who couldn’t be there to hear the sermon Jesus was like “dress codes wasn’t in my religion” Then the tithe came around but he ain’t have no money Passed it on the lady and she sucks her teeth! Then to top it all off an elder came up to him Said “this is the lord’s house you better tithe and respect him” Jesus said he’d seen enough and he stormed the pulpit Grabbed the mic form the pastor and he stopped the music Chorus Y’all say you love Jesus but do your actions show it? You say you’re living his faith but it don’t seem you know it I’d rather see a good sermon than hear one for real No more cafeteria Christians, we want the full meal Jesus spoke and said “Frankly, I’m disappointed Thought I was sitting in the house that you call the anointed…” Was interrupted by a cell phone, which he found appalin’ Said “Shut it off cause I’m right here it ain’t me callin’ On your phone but I’m callin’ on y’all to come home To be true Christians and not so judgmental There are crack addicts who can’t even come in ’Cause they’d destroy your image on the television There are pastors in here who abuse their position Mentorin’ women to start sinnin in their favorite position Jesus died again right there and his spirit rose up Left through the rooftop, led everyone to stand up They fell down to their knees and they started to pray For a lord they didn’t love in the flesh today Moral of the story? If Jesus walks with you Do your best to live like him and really do what he do! Chorus Y’all say you love Jesus but do your actions show it?     ICE is killing the RIGHT people

    It's so frustrating to hear people say that ICE is killing the wrong people. These are the people they WANT to kill. They want to kill protesters like Renee Good and Alex Pretti. They WANT to kill Latinos like Lorenzo Salgada Araujo and Joan Sebastián Durán Guerrero. If they didn't want these individuals killed, then the killers would be fired. There would be arrested. There would be trials. There would be compensation. None of these things are happening, therefore it is safe to say that the right people are being killed based on ICE's thoughts. They also never identify the people they were actually looking for. Why? Because it doesn't matter. They're all the same to ICE.     Democrats can't treat Graham Platner & Darializa Chevalier like republicans treat Trump

    Republicans are quick to say that they didn't hear certain comments that Trump make or posts. Democrats are starting to do the same thing and say they haven't heard or read various comments by people like Graham Platner and Darializa Avila Chevalier. That's a mistake. Democrats should condemn and past problematic comments and then recognize that these individuals have held themselves accountable for their words and that they also haven't created any policies that are racist, homophobic, antisemitism, etc. There is a great opportunity for democrats to build on the momentum being created by these newer candidates but the leadership and those in office now are missing the opportunity.
