Vanderpump Rules S8 E20 Recap & After Show: The Finale!

On this season finale of Vanderpump Rules, we see some friendships get mended and other friendships break for good. Stassi and Katie ultimately make the decision that they are officially done with Kristen and that the “Witches of WeHo” are over. Jax and Tom decide that they need a break from their friendship, and Lisa tells Jax that he needs to respect his friends if he wants them to continue to be in his life. Dayna confronts Brett about why he’s so upset with her, and they ultimately are done with each other as well. Dayna decides that she’s ultimately choosing herself over both Brett and Max. Karrah from Vegas shows up to “The Hollywood Reporter” photoshoot, and gets called out by Danica at the TomTom 1 year anniversary party for being up in Stassi and Ariana’s business. Karrah triggers Danica when she just smiles at her, which get Danica more upset and Lisa ends up sending her home from the party. James and Lala debut their new song at the party, and James apologizes to Randall for everything he’s said about him in the past. James also meets up with his mom, who is 6 months sober, and they bond over their sobriety. Vanderpump Rules S8 E19 Recap & After Show: Meet me at the pool part(ies)

This week on Vanderpump Rules, Tom Sandoval decides to go through with his pool party on the same day as Jax’s party, despite the drama that it causes. The gang has to choose between which pool party to attend, and Ariana tells Brittany that Katie was the one who suggested Tom throw his party on the same day as Jax. Brittany confronts Katie about it, and they get in an argument. Jax is working out 3 times a day and being distant, which causes Brittany to think he’s slipping back into his old ways. Stassi pulls Jax aside at the pool party and he opens up to her about how he’s been feeling post-wedding. Brett and Max get into an argument about Brett making out with Dayna, and she ultimately feels like she’s stuck in between two men, neither of which are fully committing to her. Lisa asks the Toms if they want to continue their investment into the expansion of TomTom with The Garden at TomTom, and they both are optimistic about the opportunity. On this week’s episode of Vanderpump Rules, Beau finally gets to propose to Stassi at the cemetary like he’s been planning to do for months, and it went off without a hitch! Stassis’s family surprised her at Villa Rosa for the engagement party and she was beyond thrilled, but Carter sent Beau a text telling them that they should be thanking Kristen, and tensions arise. Kristen is obviously upset about not knowing about the proposal, and Brittany and Jax visit her the next day to make sure she’s okay. Witches of We Hope This Friendship Can Be Mended - S8 E16 'Vanderpump Rules' Recap & After Show

This week on Vanderpump Rules, Stassi, Kristen, and Katie are planning a Witches of WeHo wine event, but Kristen seems to be the only one interested in the brand anymore. Beau is struggling with keeping his friendship with Kristen while maintaining his relationship with Stassi and planning a proposal, which ultimately leads to a huge blow-up between him and Stassi at the event. Needs to take abuse seriously

I generally like the podcast otherwise (it is usually fun), but the amount of times that James’ abuse and aggressively controlling behavior gets swept under the rug because one of the hosts keeps making excuses for him is disturbing and dangerous to vulnerable women. The way it is talked about sends a message that this kind of behavior is normal. It is not and never should be. If you want to have a platform with an audience, be cognizant of the message you send to the listeners. That being said, sometimes there are differing viewpoints voiced on the subject.

The last season especially shows how ignorant and childish the hosts are. They didn’t even know the what the phrase “being a wet blanket” means. And the fake and shallow extra episode regarding the firings is super performative as we’ve already heard their real opinions in previous episodes.
