Could The Eagles Be In Trouble This Coming Season? (PST Episode 654)

The Philadelphia Eagles have been retooling their offensive coaching in recent days and weeks since the end of the season. We also know there are a bunch of defensive free agents that may hit the market and leave Philly. Could the Eagles be in trouble this coming season? This week, Brandon Lee Gowton - BLG - from BleedingGreenNation.com joined the pod for a conversation about the current state of this Eagles team and where this offseason may go. It was a fantastic discussion! But first, the guys dove into some Phillies talk as the season is upon us. Is the window still open for this team? (Approx. 7:10) From there, they got into the monumental collapse of the Flyers prior to the Olympic break. Is this team who we thought they were at the beginning of the season? (Approx. 15:25) Then they discussed the Jared McCain trade and how the vision of the Sixers is taking shape, for good or bad. (Approx. 23:48) Is the NFL turning from an “offensive league” to a “defensive league?” The guys had a great discussion about this question. (Approx. 35:40) What they threw down on the Table this week was a great and in-depth conversation with Brandon Lee Gowton from Bleeding Green Nation about this Eagles offseason, and how the offensive and defensive moves that’ll be made will help to determine if this team is in trouble in 2026. Thoughts on Sean Mannion, the Eagles new offensive coordinator. What kind of details will we see from Mannion’s offense? Thoughts on losing some exceptional defensive talent in free agency. All of this and much more this week on the Table! Should We Be Optimistic About The Phillies In 2026? (PST Episode 653)

The Philadelphia Phillies season is just around the corner and Spring Training will be here before we know it. Baseball season is almost here! That said, there are questions and storylines we’re following when it comes to this Phillies team and what they’ll look like here in 2026. This week, Matt Davis from ThatBallsOuttaHere.com over at Fansided joined the pod for a conversation about the Phillies offseason and what this coming season will hold. It was a fantastic discussion! But first, the guys gave their Super Bowl predictions and thoughts on the Eagles offensive coordinator search. (Approx. 4:50) From there, they got into a discussion about the Flyers and specifically how Trevor Zegras has seemingly hit a roadblock. How should Danny Briere address this? (Approx. 18:15) Then they dove into some NBA and Sixers talk. Giannis self-diagnosed an injury, which was bizarre. Quentin Grimes has fallen off a cliff, and what that could mean for the trade deadline. (Approx. 25:50) What they threw down on the Table this week was a great and in-depth conversation with Matt Davis from That Balls Outta Here about this upcoming Phillies season. Thoughts on the offseason hits and misses. What will the level of competition be as the Mets might truly be a contender again? Should we be skeptical of this team “running it back” or should we settle down and see what happens with this talented group of players? All of this and much more this week on the Table!
