Silver Screen Queens

Melissa Savage and Katie Molloy met in film class, and haven’t been able to stop talking movies ever since. Each week they watch a movie and review it, stopping to make plenty of nerdy references along the way.
Insightful perspectives

I have been listening for years, and these ladies have really opened my eyes to new perspectives about film making and pop cultures. When I watch a movie, I am just as excited about the movie as hearing about what the Silver Screen Queens have to say about it.
Refreshing perspectives

A nice change from normally vitriolic movie reviews. Both of the critics are knowlegable and well spoken. I find that I smile every time a new episode comes out, whether or not I have seen or plan to see the movie in question. I would love to see them review the 1953 french film "The Wages of Fear." It's a devisive movie umong my friends and I would be interested in a third party perspective.
Well worth a listen for movie fans

Katie and Melissa offer up detailed reviews and recaps of movies old and new. Unlike mainstream middle of the road, offend no one movie critics, these two pull no punches. Very thoughtful and insightful recaps, and very often quite funny too. Especially with obvious B type movies. Love to hear you two take on "2001 A Space Odyssey".

About 5 months ago, i discovered this podcast and i fell in love with it immediately. I then listened almost every episode of this podcast. Unlike most other film-related podcasts, this podcast review films in a very unique perspective. The two hosts, Katie and Melissa make a great team, the connection between them is rather inspiring. Thank you for making this great podcast, i will always support you! P.S. Please review Clueless. I love this film so much and this year they celebrated its 20th anniversary, i'd like to know your opinions about it. Thank you.
I swear I wrote a better review by iTunes deleted it

So after pouring my heart and soul (and all of admittedly three minutes) into a review, iTunes decided my name was too long and decided to delete it. So in short what I said I- 1. I love you two 2. These two approach and frame their critiques from and often new perspective when compared to other critics 3. Feminism is good. 4. Ostentatious free zone. I's absolutely love it if you'd review one of my indie movie sunshines; Electrick Children (yes with a 'k'). I swear is right up your alley and the director is an incredibly talented women whose work I can only assume you'll fall in love with. So please follow me on this blue tape inspired synthetic sunshine laden Mormon adventure.
Entertaining and to the point

This is a fun, straight-forward podcast featuring two very energetic and entertaining hosts. The episodes are short and the content covers topic really well. The hosts share their unique perspectives on the movies they’re discussing and have very insightful conversation about them.
A Down Under Perspective

I like the fact that Katie & Melissa don’t just parrot what everyone else is saying about a movie—and the fact that they will admit that the sometimes miss the beginning of a film; have to go to the bathroom in the middle of one; etc. You know, like real people. And, yes, the accents are great to listen to.
