Episode I am Currently On: 17, I Dream of Africa
Things I love in life: Lovecraft Mythos, Tabletop Gaming, and Podcasts. If you like these things, too, I highly recommend giving this podcast a listen as it has been a great addition to my sub list. I am only several episodes in to the first season, when the crew was still working their way through the Masks of Nyarlathotop AP for Chaosium. Inc.'s, Call of Cthulhu 65th Edition roleplaying game, and while the quality at this stage could be a little clearer with regards to hearing what everyone is saying when they are talking at the same time, the story telling and character development is top-notch. Some live-plays/actual-plays suffer from poor table dynamic, or min-maxers and adventure hogs taking away from other characters. I do not get that in any overt way from this table and am enjoying listening to a story in a setting I am familiar with, but a system I am not (I admit this and must make the disclaimer that I cannot attest to the use of the system, but it seems comparable to some Let's Plays I've watched of the 7th edition). The story captures the weirdness and mystery that encompasses all things Lovecraft while the players provide living characters that propel the story further.
Thanks for a great podcast! I look forward to catching up and hearing more!
