Stop Arguing With A Conversation That Is Not Real

Send us Fan Mail Your mind can start a fight hours before anyone walks in the room and your body still reacts like it’s happening. We catch that pattern in real time, then show how to “own the frame” so you stop surrendering your mood, your professionalism, and your peace to a story you invented. Alex shares a producer moment where a single text spiraled into negative forecasting, and how flipping the narrative changed the entire session. From there, we go deeper to the root: the core belief so many of us carry, “I’m not worthy.” We connect worthiness to early childhood needs and explain how belief systems form when a kid’s needs aren’t met consistently, without turning it into a blame game. Then we widen the lens to maladaptive behaviors: the ways we numb or mask emotions through drinking, food, shopping, gambling, porn, work, and even relationship patterns like people pleasing or refusing vulnerability. We talk about readiness to change, “high bottom” moments, and why love for yourself can be a better fuel than pain. Finally, we challenge you with a radical self-love practice: the mirror exercise, saying “I love you” using your name, and noticing what comes up. If you want practical mindset tools for limiting beliefs, self-worth, emotional coping behaviors, and attachment patterns, hit subscribe, share this with someone who’s stuck in a loop, and leave a review with the belief you’re ready to release.

How To Identify The Thoughts That Cage You

Send us Fan Mail A move across town can look simple on the outside, but it can expose everything underneath: our need for safety, our fear of change, and the stories we keep repeating to ourselves. We start with the real-life details of moving in with a partner, then use that transition to talk about what actually makes a new season feel stable, not scary.  From there, we get practical about personal growth and mindset. We introduce our “and-one” framework, where the “and” is acceptance and readiness, not a rushed timeline. Then we walk through step one: identifying limiting beliefs. We describe those beliefs as bars in a cage, and we show you how to find them through patterns, complaints, and everyday self-talk, including why phrases like “it is what it is” can quietly train your brain to give up.  We also connect the psychology to neuroscience by breaking down neural pathways and why repeated thoughts can become a mental superhighway. Along the way, we model the work in real time, including beliefs about responsibility for other people’s emotions and beliefs that once provided safety but no longer serve who we are now. If you’ve been craving more freedom, more creativity, and more agency, this gives you a clear starting point.  Subscribe for the next step, share this with a friend who’s doing the work, and leave a review if you want more tools like this. The Desire To Change

Send us Fan Mail Real change doesn’t begin with step one. It begins with the moment you decide you actually want out, out of the loop, out of the story, out of the limiting beliefs that keep replaying in your head. We start with the “and” before the count, the pre-step that makes every other tool work: desire. Ginger shares why being vulnerable matters, how she thinks like a teacher, and why we’re building this show to leave you with a real takeaway, not a blur of advice.  From there, we get honest about what blocks change: grief and survival patterns. We walk through the five stages of grief (denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance) and how bargaining can show up as rationalizing and “trying to make it make sense.” Alex asks the question many of us have: is that bargaining, or is it just the mind searching for meaning? Ginger offers a simple reframe that can break the spiral: swapping “Why me?” for “Why not me?” so you can move toward acceptance without dismissing your pain.  We also talk radical self-acceptance, the kind that draws a hard line against inner negativity and outside voices that chip away at you. And because mindset work collapses without stability, we bring in grounding, dissociation (autopilot after trauma), and Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. If your body is depleted or your safety is shaky, you don’t need a pep talk, you need a foundation: food, water, rest, support, and real help when depression or danger is present.  This podcast stays interactive on purpose. Send your questions, learn from other people’s questions, and practice the basics until they become muscle memory. If this helps, subscribe, rate, review, share with a friend, and send us what you want to snap out of next. Check out Ginger's interview in UNDARK

What Happens When the Applause Stops? With Patdro Harris

Send us Fan Mail A lot of people can work hard. Fewer people can stay whole while they do it. We sit down with Patdro Harris, an award-winning director and Broadway choreographer, to talk about what actually sustains a long creative career and a steady inner life when the applause fades, and real life shows up.  We start with the craft and the culture of dance: counting versus feeling, the “science” underneath the “soul,” and why presence matters as much as steps. From there we get personal about self-talk, rejection, and the belief so many of us fight in silence: I’m unworthy. Patdro shares how he built internal support through mantras and consistency after losing his mother early in his Atlanta chapter, and we connect that resilience to anyone navigating grief, burnout, or a major reinvention.  Then we zoom out to the big balancing act: left-brain right-brain integration. Patdro breaks down show business as a real business, where creativity needs commerce, research, follow-through, and reliability. We also explore redefining success beyond income, degrees, or standing ovations, and how small victories, gratitude, and giving can shift your mindset fast. If you’re a student, an artist, a parent, or a professional trying to stay aligned with your authentic self, you’ll leave with practical tools you can use today.  Subscribe so you don’t miss what’s next, share this with someone chasing a goal, and leave a review to help more listeners find Triple Threat.
