You Are Here! Pt. 3 - Independence Vs Interdependence In The Kingdom

Fireworks celebrate a nation breaking away, but what if the deeper celebration for the family of God is to step into? Step into a life that refuses isolation and steps into partnership with heaven? We call it Interdependence Day, and it’s the capstone of our “You Are Here” series: a reset for true identity, inheritance, and purpose that moves you from striving and spiritual smallness into clear, grounded sonship in Christ. We start by drawing a sharp line between independence, interdependence, and the kind of religious codependence that sounds humble but quietly cancels responsibility. If you’ve ever heard “all of Him, none of us” and felt like your choices, voice, or authority don’t matter, we challenge that directly. God’s plan isn’t executed by passive children. We talk about why living mentally stuck in an old age keeps people in bondage, and why the Father intends us to thrive in the “now” of what Christ finished. Then we open John 5 and lock in on Jesus’ present-tense lifestyle: the Son does what he is seeing the Father do, says what he is hearing, and lives “one word behind” God in real-time relationship. That leads into kingdom authority, exousia, and the controversial but biblical idea that God’s will is settled in heaven yet designed to be executed in the earth through the Son of Man reality. We connect that to Matthew 16, the revelation of Son of Man and Son of God, the ecclesia as God’s governmental body, and the keys of the kingdom expressed through binding and loosing. If you’re hungry for practical kingdom living, renewed mind transformation, and a clearer theology of sonship, this conversation is for you. You Are Here! Pt. 2 - Christ-Teenth (The Awakening)

Freedom can be declared on paper and still never reach the people it belongs to. That’s the tension behind Juneteenth, and it’s the same tension I’m pressing into with what I call “Christ Teenth” the awakening to what Jesus actually finished at the cross. If you’ve ever felt like you’re striving for acceptance, stuck in shame, or living like an orphan in a faith that promises sonship, this conversation is a hard reset on identity in Christ. We walk through the gap between legal freedom and lived freedom, starting with the real history of Juneteenth and the two-and-a-half-year delay between the Emancipation Proclamation and the news arriving in Galveston. Then we lay that alongside “It is finished” as God’s emancipation proclamation over humanity. I talk about Adam and the death cycle, how people can inherit patterns they never chose, and why “born again” is less about joining a club and more about waking up to the Spirit’s reality at the deepest level of belief. From there, we get practical and confrontational about how bondage can rebrand itself. Sharecropping becomes a picture for what happens when people are technically free but still controlled through systems, debt, and lack of language. I connect that to religion and mind renewal, using scriptures like Romans 5, 1 Corinthians 2, Acts 3, and Acts 26 to highlight the message many of us never heard clearly: forgiveness is real, inheritance is available, and the mission is to open eyes and turn people from darkness to light. If this shifts how you see God, yourself, or your calling, subscribe, share this with someone who needs it, and leave a review so more people can find the conversation.

You Are Here! Pt. 1 - What If Your Identity Problem Is A Location Problem?

If you’ve ever felt like you’re doing everything “right” but still don’t know who you are, we think the problem might be location, not effort. We start with a simple idea that hits hard: the mind is amazing hardware, but it can run broken software. That’s why we talk about mind renewal as mind renovation, replacing old programming like fear, performance, and orphan thinking with the truth of your identity in Christ.  From there, we zoom out to Scripture as the recorded story of God revealing Himself to different generations in different ways, then zoom back in on the name that matters most: Father. We unpack the “You are here” moment and why spiritual growth starts with honest self-location. You’ll hear us draw a sharp line between destinations and destiny, and why becoming isn’t pretending to be someone new, it’s uncovering who you were meant to be. We also challenge a popular interpretation of “many mansions,” reframing it as many realms of access to God through grace and the Holy Spirit rather than a future construction project in heaven.  Then we get practical and personal: guarding the heart like a garden, watching for fruit instead of hiding behind leaves, and recognizing how words reveal what’s planted inside. We connect today’s identity crisis, information overload, and even our obsession with labels to a deeper hunger for “Christ in you, the hope of glory.” To tie it all together, we use a modern metaphor you already trust: GPS. Prayer works like a God Positioning System, but it only helps if we follow the directions and let Him recalibrate our steps when we miss a turn.  Subscribe for more, share this with a friend who’s wrestling with purpose, and leave a review that tells us what “you are here” means in your life right now.
