With the arrival of summer, Artists for Plants is delighted to announce the launch of a new multilingual podcast on Polyglot Radio, created to give voice to the plant world through conversations at the intersection of art, ecology, science, and culture. The podcast will bring together artists, researchers, activists, curators, and thinkers from different countries and disciplines in a series of conversations inspired by the intelligence, resilience, and interconnectedness of the vegetal world. Through stories, experiences, and reflections, it aims to foster a deeper understanding of the fundamental role plants play in sustaining life on Earth and to inspire new ways of relating to the natural world. This summer, a new language joins Polyglot Radio: the language of plants. Like the radio itself, the Artists for Plants podcast embraces linguistic and cultural diversity.     This week, Mike and Silvia interview Father Giovanni Onore, founder of Otonga in Quito, Ecuador. The foundation has been a partner of Artists for Plants *derivatio nominis* derives from the root ‘oto’, meaning ‘a living being underground’, specifically referring to ‘underground worms, earthworms and other similar creatures’. As part of its commitment to protecting the rainforest, the Otonga Foundation also supports children’s education through scholarships and long-distance sponsorship programmes. Access to education will enable them to become guardians of the rainforest. Education is fundamental to environmental conservation. La fondazione è stata partner di Artists for Plants *derivatio nominis* trae origine dalla radice "oto", che significa "essere vivente sotto terra", identificabile nello specifico come "verme sotterraneo, lombrico e altre creature simili". Nel suo impegno per la salvaguardia della foresta pluviale, la Fondazione Otonga sostiene anche l'istruzione dei bambini attraverso borse di studio e programmi di adozione a distanza. L' accesso all'istruzione, farà di loro i protettori della foresta pluviale.
