This season, we'll explore what it means to live as exiles in an empire: how do we, as citizens of the Kingdom of God, live faithfully in an empire that is in direct opposition to the Kingdom of God. Friendship & Vulnerability

In this episode, Kiana sits down with two of her best friends, Rachel & Sara to have a conversation around what it takes to build vulnerability into friendships, and have God-centered, sacrificial friendships in a self-serving culture. Kiana, Rachel, and Sara have been best friends for nearly 10 years, and through every season, from marriage, to motherhood, to seasons of joy and suffering, their friendship has been centered around Jesus, prayer, and what the Holy Spirit is doing in their lives.  "Sara is a wife, mama of two sweet girls with a baby boy on the way, and a lover of Jesus who finds joy in the beauty of everyday life. She loves long coffee dates, meaningful conversations, walks, beach days with her crew, and saying yes to wherever God leads. Whether she’s capturing memories through photography or embracing the beautiful chaos of motherhood, Sara is passionate about shining the light of Jesus everywhere she goes. Rachel is a wife and a stay-at-home mama to two babies earth-side and one in heaven. She and her family moved back to California from Tennessee a little over a year ago. You’ll usually find her outside on a long walk, at the park with her babies soaking up sunshine, or enjoying intentional time with friends. She believes that the sweetest moments in life are often the simplest ones, shared with the people you love most."
