Max

Life With MaxWelcome! I'm Max Marcoux. For more than 27 years, I've had the privilege of serving as a pastor, helping people discover the hope, peace, and purpose that come from following Jesus. Along the way I've been blessed with an incredible wife of over 30 years, raised four children, owned a fitness gym, coached people through life's challenges, and worked with individuals living courageously with Parkinson's disease. Life has taken me on some amazing adventures—from racing motorcycles and playing in rock bands to studying music at Berklee College of Music, traveling, creating music, and exploring the beauty of God's creation through photography. Each experience has taught me something about faith, perseverance, and the incredible grace of God. One truth has become clear to me: Life isn't transformed overnight. It's renewed one step, one choice, and one day at a time. That's what this podcast is all about. Each episode offers practical, Bible-centered encouragement to help you grow closer to God, understand His Word, strengthen your faith, build healthier relationships, and live with greater purpose, hope, and joy. We'll talk about real life, real challenges, and the timeless truth of Scripture, discovering together how following Jesus transforms every part of our lives. Whether you're just beginning your faith journey or you've been walking with Jesus for many years, my hope is that you'll leave every episode encouraged, challenged, and better equipped to become the person God created you to be. Thanks for being here. Let's renew our lives—one step at a time.

The Daily Habit That Changes Everything

The Daily Habit That Changes Everything What if one simple daily habit could transform your faith, your peace, your courage, and your future? In this message, we look at the incredible story of Daniel in the lions' den and discover that Daniel's greatest victory didn't begin when he faced the lions—it began long before, in the quiet place of daily prayer. When prayer becomes a lifestyle instead of a last resort, it changes the way we face fear, temptation, uncertainty, and life's greatest challenges. Daniel's consistent relationship with God prepared him for the moment that would define his life. In this teaching you'll discover: • Why daily prayer builds unshakable faith. • How healthy spiritual habits prepare you for difficult seasons. • What Daniel teaches us about courage, consistency, and trusting God. • Practical ways to make prayer a natural part of your everyday life. No matter where you are in your walk with God, my prayer is that this message encourages you to spend time with Him every day. You may not know what tomorrow holds, but when you walk closely with God today, He prepares you for whatever comes next. "Then Daniel went home to his house... and three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before." — Daniel 6:10 #Daniel #LionsDen #Prayer #DailyPrayer #Faith #ChristianLiving #BibleStudy #TrustGod #SpiritualGrowth #Hope #Jesus #ChristianEncouragement #RenewYourLife #LifeWithMax
