The Meaning Behind “All I Need”

Six years ago, God gave me one verse, Psalm 16:5. Good News Translation (GNT) (the verse that inspired “All I Need”) “You, Lord, are all I have, and you give me all I need; my future is in your hands.”   Amplified Bible (AMP) “The LORD is the portion of my inheritance, my cup [He is all I need]; You support my lot.”   At the time, I had no idea it would eventually become the name of this podcast. In this episode, I’m sharing the real story behind “All I Need”, how one text message, one Scripture, and one moment with God planted a seed that would grow into something so much bigger than I could have imagined. We’ll talk about faith, purpose, timing, becoming, and why sometimes God gives us the vision long before we understand what He’s building. I also briefly mention that I’m a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP). If you’ve ever wondered what that means, or if you’re interested in working in the mental health field. Here’s a quick overview: What is a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)? A Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) is a trained mental health professional who provides skills training, psychoeducation, crisis intervention, case management support, and other community-based mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families living with mental health challenges. QMHPs work in a variety of settings, including community mental health agencies, schools, hospitals, residential programs, and nonprofit organizations. Specific qualifications and responsibilities vary by state.   If this episode encouraged you, challenged you, or simply reminded you that God is enough, thank you for being here. Going Inward, Not Outward: Where Are You in This Season?

In this episode of All I Need with Bre, we’re having an honest conversation about quiet seasons, emotional exhaustion, boundaries, healing, and learning how to go inward instead of constantly reaching outward for noise, comfort, or answers. We talk about choosing stillness over the noise, processing in prayer instead of pressure, protecting your peace, acknowledging what you need, and learning that not every situation needs a conversation. This episode is for the person who feels tired… the strong friend… the overthinker… the person learning how to sit with God, themselves, and the silence without feeling guilty for it. Sometimes the answer isn’t another opinion, another phone call, or more background noise. Sometimes we just need space to breathe, pray, reflect, and be still. Welcome to the All I Need Podcast ☕✨A space for honest conversations about faith, healing, growth, becoming, and navigating life with God at the center. “The Lord is the portion of my inheritance, my cup [He is all I need]; You support my lot.” — Psalms 16:5 AMP 🤍 If this episode encouraged you, supported you, or simply made you feel a little less alone, and you’d like to support the podcast, you can do so here 🤍 Cash App: $Breh3 Your prayers, shares, listens, and support truly mean more than you know. What Do You Do When Your Heart Has Been Mishandled?

In this episode of the All I Need Podcast, we’re having a very honest conversation about emotional safety, psychological safety, burnout, survival mode, friendships, relationships, workplace stress, boundaries, and what happens when your heart feels mishandled in different areas of life. I open up about navigating difficult work environments, feeling unsupported, struggling with emotional exhaustion, learning how to protect my peace, and realizing that not every person or space is emotionally safe to go to. We talk about:♡ emotional safety♡ psychologically safe environments♡ workplace burnout & compassion fatigue♡ friendships & relationships♡ boundaries & limiting access♡ the “Let Them” theory♡ grief, surrender, and healing♡ learning how to feel your feelings without hardening your heart♡ trusting God while processing disappointment This episode is raw, reflective, emotional, and very real. DISCLAIMER 🤍 Throughout this episode, I interchange the phrases “emotionally safe” and “psychologically safe.” I first learned about psychological safety through motivational interviewing training and through the work that I do in the mental health field. Psychological Safety:The belief that you can express yourself honestly, ask questions, communicate concerns, or be vulnerable without fear of shame, punishment, embarrassment, dismissal, or ridicule. Emotional Safety:The feeling of being emotionally secure with someone — feeling heard, supported, understood, accepted, and safe enough to fully be yourself emotionally. The two overlap deeply, especially within relationships, friendships, workplaces, leadership, counseling spaces, and everyday life. This episode is not meant to diagnose, shame, or attack anyone. It’s simply an honest reflection on what it looks like to acknowledge when your heart has been mishandled — and how to move forward without allowing bitterness, pride, offense, or pain to harden you. “The Lord is the portion of my inheritance, my cup [He is all I need]; You support my lot.”— Psalms 16:5 AMP 🤍 Welcome to the All I Need Podcast ☕️✨A space for honest conversations about faith, healing, growth, becoming, and navigating life with God at the center.
