Our Second Miscarriage, Grief & What We Learned | Stubblefields Set Free | Episode 6

⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING: This episode discusses miscarriage, pregnancy loss, grief, and the emotional impact of losing a baby. Please listen with care, especially if you are currently walking through loss. In Episode 6 of Stubblefields Set Free, we continue sharing our journey through pregnancy and baby loss—this time talking about our second miscarriage. But this conversation is about more than what happened. We also reflect on the emotions surrounding both our first and second miscarriages—the shock, grief, questions, expectations, and the ways each loss affected us differently. Looking back, there are lessons we learned that we wish we had known while we were walking through those seasons. So we're opening up about what we learned, how we processed these losses, what we would tell our younger selves, and some encouragement for anyone who may currently be walking through miscarriage or pregnancy loss. If that's you, please know: you don't have to pretend you're okay. Your baby mattered. Your grief matters. And you don't have to walk through this alone. Our story doesn't offer easy answers to the question of why, but it does point us back to the One who carried us when we didn't understand. ❤️‍🩹 If you've experienced pregnancy loss, we pray this conversation brings you comfort, understanding, and hope. 🎙️ Episode 6 is available now. Our First Miscarriage, Dying and Coming Back to Life | Stubblefields Set Free | Episode 5

⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING: This episode contains detailed discussion of miscarriage, pregnancy loss, death, resuscitation, medical trauma, and grief. Please listen with care if you have experienced pregnancy or infant loss or a traumatic medical experience. In Episode 5, we share the detailed story of our first miscarriage—an experience that completely changed us. I had never experienced a miscarriage before and never imagined that it would happen to me. The loss was devastating, but what followed became even more traumatic. During this experience, I had what I describe as a near-death experience—or dying and coming back. We talk openly about what I experienced and what those moments were like. Harrison also shares his perspective of what happened as he watched his wife in a life-threatening situation and had to step in to try to save my life. For him, this wasn't only the loss of a baby. He was also faced with the possibility of losing his wife. This conversation takes us into some incredibly vulnerable places: grief, fear, trauma, marriage, the role of a husband during crisis, and what it means to trust God when life doesn't look anything like you expected. This is a difficult story—but it is also a story of survival, love, faith, and God's faithfulness. If you've experienced miscarriage or pregnancy loss, we pray this episode reminds you that your grief matters and that you don't have to walk through it alone. 🎙️ Episode 5 of Stubblefields Set Free is available now. #StubblefieldsSetFree #PregnancyLoss #MiscarriageAwareness #ChristianMarriage #GodsFaithfulness

Miscarriage, Fatherhood & Trusting God | Stubblefields Set Free | Episode 4

TRIGGER WARNING: This episode discusses miscarriage, pregnancy loss, grief, and the emotional impact of losing a baby. Please listen with care if you are currently grieving or have experienced pregnancy or infant loss. We started this episode planning to talk about our miscarriages and the babies we've lost. We did begin sharing the story of our first miscarriage, but the conversation unexpectedly led us into a deeper discussion about fatherhood, providing for the family, trusting God, and the often-overlooked grief fathers experience after miscarriage. What does it mean for a man to trust the Lord with his role as provider? How can husbands surrender the pressure to carry everything themselves? And what happens when fathers are grieving too, but feel like they have to remain strong for everyone else? We believe fathers deserve space to grieve, process, and acknowledge their own loss. Because of where this conversation led, we're going to finish telling the story of our first miscarriage in the next episode, and we'll share about our other pregnancy and baby losses in another episode. We also take a moment in this episode to explain why we didn't release an episode for two weeks in a row. While our release day may vary, Stubblefields Set Free will continue to be released weekly—either Thursday or Friday. ❤️‍🔥 Thank you for continuing to journey with us as we share the beautiful, painful, messy, and redemptive parts of our story. Our prayer is that through our transparency, you will be reminded that God is present in every chapter—even the ones we never would have chosen. #StubblefieldsSetFree #PregnancyLoss #ChristianMarriage #Fatherhood #TrustingGod
