    In this first episode of  Sad Dad and Friends, I share the reason this podcast exists. This isn’t a show about having the right answers. It’s a space for honest conversations about what people are actually carrying—grief, loneliness, stress, loss, and everything in between. I talk about a moment in my life that changed how I saw support, connection, and what it means to be heard. I expected understanding and left feeling more alone than when I walked in. That experience stayed with me, and it became the foundation for this podcast. The goal here is simple: to create a place where people can speak freely, without judgment, and feel less alone in what they’re going through. No pressure to be okay. No expectation to have it figured out. Just real conversations with real people. If you’ve ever felt like you had to carry something by yourself, this is for you. You’re not alone.
