    Jade Star 9 (Monday July 20, 12:53)

    • Steve opens by clocking the time and turning on himself: "Ah you f*****g romantic idiot Steve you stupid romantic idiot." The morning was meant to be for writing his law of three. The tag is instant self-forgiveness: "But it's okay, it's okay, Steve. Had some good insights about the law of three this morning, Steve." • The tea. Jade Star 9 from Mei Leaf, an eighteen year old 2008 Bai Mudan and Shou Mei. One and eight is nine. "It's meaningful to me. It's meaningful." He reads Céline's wrapper art: "I see my silly ship sailing into the glorious sort of I dunno psilocybin tinged waters of Eros." The bar is the stumble becoming the coinage: "a shimmering a shimmer a shimmerance a limerenance." Verdict: "Maybe it's caught in a kind of Bermuda triangle of love." • The Gurdjieff bit. Steve types him and picks a fight: "Was he just a seven pretending to be a five? I've read all the books. No, you haven't, Gurdjieff." The charge: "You're just a seven who wandered hither and thither, piecing together a system, and you're not a five, you didn't say where you got it from." The reversal: Gurdjieff collaborating with Thomas de Hartmann on the movements. "That is so eight four. It's beautiful." Frame: "the four five eight squaring it out with the four seven eight." • Poems as what fours do when suffering. "They're so f*****g intense. Those f*****g drama queens. F**k them. But also, that's their kink. That's their existential kink." Closer: "The only way through is through." • The poem books: black cardboard, twelve sheets of s****y A4. "I've tried to make the poem process special. No, it can't be." • The shit poem bit, the centrepiece. A man shat himself onto a waterless porcelain ledge. Mid-bit disclaimer: "He doesn't smear himself, he doesn't wank, it's not coprophyl, he's not coprophile. Let's just get this clear." Then: "he takes a s****y f*****g finger and he writes in his own shit on the page and he writes a poem." It swerves to Patrycja mid-sentence: "you who feel threatened by poems, by not being able to put them into a little f*****g box. You don't like that raw, s****y, but beautiful expression just lying there with the flies." • News, told in third person: "You know what did the f*****g stupid romantic SX4 do yesterday? After our amazing weekend together. He started making a playlist and he sent it to her." Called It's You. Unacknowledged. The retraction as punchline: "That playlist has now been changed to Love Prayers." The bitter riff: "you only want my content when you are in your little women's cave and you want to give half an hour of your attention to another human soul." • The wing it joke, marked as it lands: "I will literally f*****g wing it, Paul. That's a good joke. I will wing it on my five." Decision: "I will write this poem, but I will not send this poem to her. I will send it to you. I trust you. And I don't trust her." • Straight admission: "I love Tmesis, but I don't need Tmesis. I need whatever I'm creating here. I so f*****g need it today." • Overturns himself within a minute. Social instinct won't save them: "when she is triggered she has no access to social." Self-implicating tag: "And when I am hurt, I'm a little bit antisocial. Let's be fair." Replacement precept: God is the third. • The bus bit: the 458 all fighting for the wheel. "We don't want to be alone again for another five years. But maybe the bus has to go off the f*****g cliff." • The numbers bit, which he flags himself: "F*****g amazing man, that needs to be a piece of content." Two egos don't say anything, they just emit trifixes, four five eight against four six nine. Her type worked out live: "a f*****g fierce m**********r angel 9, right? It's got two strong wings." • Two titles arrive mid-sentence: "What are we actually saying to each other?" and, from "I will die on it like f*****g Christ," the poem The hill on which I will die. • The doctrine. The prayer goes to the person you want to forgive you.

Snowflake Edgelord Redux (Monday July 20, 15:07)

    • Steve opens on the Tao as a dial: "The dial takes us up, the dial takes us down, the Tao lets us fly, and the Tao lets us fall. The Tao is gravity. The Tao is what is." • The thesis: he and Patrycja, just by being themselves, may not be able to be together. "Maybe there isn't the adequate third" — both have social as their weakest instinct. • He addresses this to Pol's Five: "I don't want to go into the forehead because the forehead is wounded. I don't want to go into the eight, because the eight is angry. The five just wants to know." • Frames it as the next chapter. "This is a show about the show. A show about the romantic doing his shtick." • First ever sound bath, extraordinary. "My sound bath virginity was taken." It was how the Ariekei sound — "I'm almost finished reading the book and I still can't say their names." • Platform synchronicity: an abandoned book, hope rising, then Atomic Habits, "a very tracky book by what's his face." Second punchline: "But it was in Tamil." • The Lady Cave: one room, fifty images of Jesus, pure Four with a Nine fix. On entry: "Oh, there's your boyfriend." • The gift — a gaiwan, two cups, half the Jade Star 9 from Mei Leaf, with two weeks apart coming. "I want to give you a piece of me to take away with you." He stages the reveal: "Your mind is going to say, what the f**k did Steve do?" • The gift horse bit, the set's peak riff. His own message that morning had been don't look a gift horse in the mouth. "Let me look in the mouth. Let me look in the ears. Let me look in the anus. Let me examine the inner crevices of this gift's legs. That gift was looked in every single part of its being, Pol." • The thunder face. "She reacted as if I'd literally taken a f*****g dump on her bed." • Her three reasons, read as firefighters not managers. Six: love bombing, a real stalker history — and "trust me" is "the worst thing you can say to the paranoid skeptic." Four: "It feels like you're foisting your identity onto me," answered with "Well yeah, that's called sharing our passions, honey." Nine: "Why are you harshing my mellow, dude?" • The rugby gear image: "Oh, you brought your rugby gear into my sanctum." Then the turn — "And I felt completely at home because I am a woman." • "Too much" as archetypal complaint: what self-pres always says to sexual. • The crucifixion riff: "You picked this guy off the shelf. I returned him, I know I returned him, but now I'm back for more. Crucify me, lady, with your Jesus boyfriend." • Theological complaint: "She's in relationship with Jesus, but Jesus is not in relationship with her and me. There is no third there." • Two wounded snowflakes, and only one can afford it. "I have my own snowflake and he's really upset. But I'm gonna comfort him." • The pros: no space for Max, no space for him. "It is her nun's cloister." • Natalia forecast. "They say they're the subs, but actually they're the dogs." Then: "Sorry, that sounded bitter. It's late, I haven't eaten." • The Rilke: "Mine isn't the one that got away. Mine is she who is yet to come, who will never come, but she is yet to come." • Encore: "What are days for, Steve? Is Patrycja a necessary obstacle you want to voluntarily take on? And then, my friend, I do not know."

Gushville, Tennessee (Sunday July 19, 14:38)

. • Steve opens with a hymn, Georgia Mass Choir, and canonises it live: "it's one of the Triadion hymns. Of course it is." • Genre disclaimer: "This ain't gonna be a set, buddy. This is gonna be a gush." Escalates into a place, Gushville, Tennessee, and files his dispatch from there. • Darwin birthday bit: guesses twelve or thirteen, reframes the get-together as an unannounced bar mitzvah, then upgrades it into a video about his fraught but deep relationship with Judaism. • Explains yesterday's silence, self-correcting mid-sentence: "that's more of a five-ish thing, sorry, a four-ish thing." Keeping score of messages is the four's move. • Saturday: mopey but fine, garden planting, plans for the Law of Three video, and a lot of Cynthia Bourgeault on the Trinity. "That book is key." Still wants Feasts of Unity. • Rez digression. She's alive; he "killed" her in the SX4-to-8 way. The diagnosis is structural: Rez is "a nun," bound to the Diamond Approach and Almaas, and "if someone has an everything in their life, it's quite difficult to be part of that life." Every blue moon she'd raise her head, realise she'd seen no one for eons, and call. A great outing never generated the next one. • Rez is a self-pres 469. So, he's convinced, is Patrycja. • The universe bit, spine of the set. He shouts for a social-sexual 594, "you think you want Pol in female form," and gets 469s. "The last ten years of my f*****g life, any meaningful connection I've made with a female person, it's been a four, six, f*****g nine. What is it about those three f*****g numbers in me, Pol?" • Her message: apologises for "the car crash that was our Tuesday Wednesday communication," says it mattered, asks for tea, signs with an x. His read: music to his ears, and "tread carefully here, Steve." • Deflation tag: maybe she went back on Hinge and found him okay comparatively. "She's only been on Hinge for two weeks. I've been on Hinge for ten years." • Nine-apology sketch. Nines mediate but don't apologise. Move: imagine Jesus apologising. "I brought all this fish, I brought all this bread. I should have brought more white wine, I only made red wine." Flagged from inside: "are we doing a bit here? Maybe." • Sexual-four speed: "shall we try to recreate those lovely vibes of Hampstead Heath," then the garden follow-up, then instant regret, "Oh f*****g stop, Steve." • Gift horse bit: "Am I to look a gift SP 469 in the mouth, Pol? Well yes, of course I am, because I'm a f*****g four five eight. I'm gonna look the horse in the mouth, up the anus." Underneath: "I want to really truly see you." • Evolutionary riff: women choose, men are chosen. "In the sexual marketplace, as Orion would have it, men are lucky if they get chosen by good women." • Bedlinen set piece. His linen is soft, four-grade, old, "not Love Island sexy bedlinen. It's not hotel bedlinen." Emergency Morrisons run, polyester mix, "shit stuff." Tag: taken off later for scratchiness. • Self-interrogation while tidying: "Who's driving the bus here? Is it your c**k, Steve?" Counterweight: she's read the how-I'm-crazy book, seen the videos, and still wants to come. • Virginity bit, the emotional centre. Five years without sex. "My virginity was taken by Patrycja last night. Hooray." The gap lets you do it as if for the first time. On the sheets: "you've taken my virginity, or I've taken yours." • Sub-dom material, new to Pol. Vanilla, no BDSM, "more like a metaphysical dom. I'm an SX48 dom." • Queerness beat, unhedged: "I'm actually very queer. And that's the way I want to be." Turned toward Pol: their bond isn't man-and-man, "we can be yin and yang." Women's trousers, because they're softer. • The 469 answer: 469 is "very blendy," all three blend, his 458 doesn't. So the 469 draws out his healthy dom, conditionally. "No f*****g way I'm gonna be a Tuesday dom." •

  4. Jul 20

The AIT Acronym (Monday July 20, 14:27)

    • Steve opens mock-formally, "Excusez-moi," impressed by Pol's output, then instantly undercuts the compliment — the retraction outruns the praise. • Calls it "very Dao": the pigeon dying, Pol's earlier riff on naming, and the new project taking its name and building a door into Embassytown — a portal built only through the name, maybe leading beyond the book itself. • References Pol's canon as "the current suttas," landing on a read that the book is a test case for consent. • Callback to Pol's typing of Steve: "you're not a thinky thinky type... your heart bashes you about too much," ADHD tag waved off — "everyone has." • Steve places himself one thinky short of Pol: "I'm a thinky thinky type, not a thinky thinky thinky type," proof being he's never wanted to hang out on Reddit, "where the thinky thinky thinkies hang out." • Law of three bit, sourced "well, CF Wikipedia," heightens into "in the everything of everything context, everything is three" — flagged immediately as list/hymn material. • Extended church bit: the church Steve actually wants — teas and gaiwans everywhere, preacher opens "right guys, first hymn of the day." Real question underneath: what's a hymn for the four-five-eight faith. • Anti-hymn riff: doesn't get stiff-backed Christians and Mormons, doesn't get "the jubo hymns" (fumbled live — "jufro"). Diagnosis: hymns and national anthems both say "we are important people" — heckled directly: "f**k you, you're not important people." Plants the flag: "that's the church I've got to create." Tag: it won't be called a church, "more like the vibe zone." • 23andMe bit: imagines a psychological ancestry test, "the ultimate litmus test" of personality — the joke being Claude basically did this to Pol from text alone. • Genuine beat: Steve honoured at how intimate the material is for a five — "not even Marya really knows about this." Disciple frame reasserts: "I am your disciple, so it's fair enough." • Copyright bit: Claude wouldn't let him dump all of Pol's writing into a PDF — "that's copyright content, oh f*****g hell." • Imprint riff: not quite Pol's voice, but "an imprint of you through the foundations of the Tmesian Cathedral," and a startlingly accurate reading. • Steve's own correction to the machine: Pol is "a five line four," both wings healthy. Debates whether the flagged fear is six-ish or about consent, settles on five-and-nine as the real signal. • "Magic three" bit: six, nine, four as apex points of three processing systems/realities. Names 469 as "the Natalias and the PJs of this world," flags his own uncertainty as part of the bit ("I'm intermediate Enneagram"). • Head/heart/gut as three separate realities to get "to light up" — self-interrupts, imagines himself as a "triadic therapist," riffs on therapy's 130 schools as "the most schismatic domain on this planet," psychotherapy worse than religion for having no God. • Flavours bit: 124 therapy flavours, but people mostly pick from about nine — maybe mapping onto nine religious styles. Tag: "the Catholics are also the psychoanalysts." • Verdict: good evidence tonight for the Enneagram's validity. Wonders how dry text yields an accurate read, self-corrects "dry" to mean plain, not unpleasant. Closer: "Well done, Claudio... we Tmesians and triadists will take truth where we find it." • AIT acronym bit: inventing a mnemonic live for "intention," fumbling the letters before landing "attention, intention — there you go, that's the secret trick." Tag: future disciples who don't need the crutch will be "doubly welcome or doubly unwelcome." • Duality bit ("100% agree, 100% disagree," Embassytown-adjacent): tests it via "all women are total Tuesdays" — flags the risk live, notes he isn't "a total Tuesday" himself, "98% there." • Escalates into a structural claim: holding a claim and its opposite at once invokes a third that cancels bad-faith positions — "go away and come back when you have something to say."

    The 594 Game (Friday July 18, 12:56)

Steve tells Pol the audio was great, promises a proper response later, and explains a game arrived while feeding a transcript to Claude for title ideas. Game one, the 594 game: Steve notes his channel has attracted exactly two people, Pol and Madeline, both 5-9-4s, and concludes he's "signaling, transmitting" via the SX instinct. He wants every subscriber to be a 5-9-4, then immediately softens the rule: he'll take a 5-8-4, a 5-1-4, "just keep your comments to yourself." He praises Pol as his "game meister... Swiss Army knife" and delivers the set's thesis: "it's all bits, but we say the truest stuff in bits." Madeline callback: their first-ever conversation was itself content, a tea-and-Enneagram session Steve wants Pol to watch and type ("I think Madeline's a five"). He connects it to CS Lewis's Four Loves, itself a Madeline recommendation, and to genuine loneliness underneath the channel: "maybe days are for saying hey guys, is anyone out there a little bit like me." He knows YouTube isn't the place for this but refuses anyway: "I'm a four, five, eight, I'm gonna do it wherever the f**k I want." The rules bit: every title has to appeal to a social-sexual 5-9-4, run past Pol — though Steve admits he'll probably just outsource it to Claude, "closer to nothing." The billboard riff: he compares himself to the woman who advertised for a husband, insists he doesn't want to interview a hundred women, then retracts instantly: "actually maybe I would... only if they were all 5-9-4s." Typology fine print: must be 5-9-4 or 4-5-9, never leading with nine ("too flaccid"), keeping enough four in the mix to be understood without tipping into a four who'd "get their knickers in a twist." Riff on the Enneagram as licence — "you're just a man shouting some numbers, it's great, mathematicians know this" — alongside a real point that typology gives couples a meta-narrative instead of blame, tagged with an ad-libbed "Shabbat Shalom, Pol." The tattoo bit: Steve will get the 5-9-4 triangle inked "Rilke meets Rambo" style, build biceps for a wife-beater he doesn't own, and wait for a 5-9-4 to recognize the mark and submit. He catches himself mid-fantasy — he's not really a sub, he wants respect, cites Orion Taraban and a PsycHacks video, and extends it to men too. PJ enters properly: the three days together compared to My Dinner with Andre ("canonical four-wing-five stuff"). He could never locate her gut fix — "no there there," ruled entirely by four-six. The stem-and-branch image, offered seriously: a sub isn't broken, just has "give," and "the dom wants to be the branch from which that stem rests," not dominating it. Game two, the before/after game: seeded by Pol's still-unnamed Taffy song. Premise: each introduces something (song, poem, idea) to the other sober, responds, then both take mushrooms (Steve's a mushroom virgin) and repeat with the same material to compare responses. He gets visibly excited mid-pitch and immediately worries about flaky-four follow-through. Subway Takes analysis: the gold standard format because it can only happen on the subway, with strangers listening in — "juicy and spunky." Kareem's newer taxi-driver format falls short: "not spunky enough." Steve stages a bit where Kareem, "a hardcore seven wing eight," pitches late-night filming to his wife as a new format so he can escape the house: "this is what pays the bills, honey." Steve explains why his own game beats Subway Takes emotionally if not virally: it's an exchange "not tainted by the self," illustrated through translation — he wants Pol's tainted version of the Dao De Jing, and Pol might want his tainted version of Steve. Callback: Steve realizes he hasn't eaten, traces it to Pol's fasting talk the day before — internally supportive but uncommitted at the time, until "the Guru has spoken" flipped him into fasting too, which he names as a real motivation paradox.

  6. Jul 19

Law of Three (Sunday July 19, 18:34)

Opens with a bit about free tea trays from Mei Leaf and a fragment of his law of three hymn: I believe in the law of three, not just something that men decree, every shape has a shape in me. States the date, Friday July 17 17:43, naming his state as giddy, dials-up instinctual integration, not true mania. Fasting update: down two and a half kilos toward seventy, linked to his vow not to become a fat middle-aged f**k. Warmly responds to Pol's Equus material and proposal story to Marya, reading it as three-wing-two energy. Meds note: SSRIs only, early Prozac user, ambivalent about antidepressants. Major bit: the apostasy scare. Pol's use of the word spooked Steve into wondering if he's Judas, escalating into Freud as core-eight excommunicator. Bars: does that get me into the club, or am I gonna get struck off; you don't always get the disciples you want, Pol; I hear the wings flapping, the eight and one wing flapping, and I've been damaged by that. Riffs that Jordan Peterson (one-six-four) hunts for apostates, then reassures himself Pol's version is closer to Buddhism's eightfold path, a five faith with no finger-wagging, though he worries Tmesis carries humanist DNA he rejects. Callback: he'd asked Claude who Judas was typologically (sexual six wing five, fear-driven), reframing himself as a rigorous disciple rather than a compliant six. Praises Pol's Angel buddy-cop bit and the diamond approach dryness observation, tracing Almaas to self-preservation five versus his own teacher Res, self-preservation four. Housekeeping: fine to use his material as long as no family members are named. Major bit: the Jewish God is a c**t. Escalating comparative theology exempting Buddha and Christ, casting the Jewish God and Muhammad as toxic, Trump-shaped enneagram eights. Bars: the Jewish God is a c**t, I hate his f*****g kashrut nonsense; a toxic m**********r eight. Flags this as his own cunty eight talking. Reflects on sabotaging friendships (cites Madeline, five-nine-four), calls Pol one of the most important people in his life, listing pairings he hopes to join: Montaigne and La Boetie, Rumi and Shams, Socrates and Plato, Emerson and Thoreau, Freud and Jung, Lewis and Tolkien. Revises a metaphor live: triadism isn't a branch of the Tmesian tree, it's the ground the tree stands on, immune to apostasy like the periodic table. Plans to open his next video (working title I Believe in the Law of Three) admitting he's never had a life-changing moment in therapy, contrasting therapy's gatekept cost with spirituality's open door. Outlines a release plan: script fifteen-minute chapters addressed to Pol as What Are Days For content, later compiled into a self-published book, possibly The Law of Three. Reflects on PJ: real change happens on hinge dates, not therapy. Traces his first encounter with Res through to leading with Enneagram talk with PJ, which read as not seeing her. States his lesson, a fight-club callback: you don't talk to people about the Enneagram. Egoic threshold metaphor: the law of three is inarguable like the sea until it hits the personal, ego level, so he must start from fundamentals. Expands the Res story: silent eye contact to Bill Callahan, reframed as a self-preservation four-six testing for safety, a need he argues can never be met, citing his own 2021 burnout doing exactly that. Extends this to PJ (self-pres four-plus-six): his Enneagram talk threatened her safety, and he can't be with someone who doesn't share his faith. Major closing bit: the hymns. Triadism needs no commandments, only songs, so Steve builds a Desert Island Discs canon of sexual-four-five-eight hymns, imagining himself a wacky-weirdo transmitter leading an irreverent congregational choir. Closer: triadism, Taoist and non-anthropocentric, cannot have apostates any more than physics can. This hasn't been a good set, thanks for listening.

POL: What it is for (Friday July 17, 16:19)

    • Pol opens self-grading his own message length, then says he's got a new batch of Steve's topics to work through. • Guessing bit: Steve said he listened to a song high without naming it. Pol strains for clues, guesses Trans Fatty Acid by Lamb over Everything's F****d, and lectures that the song doesn't open up until 1:40 and the drop hits at 3:15. • Genuine reflection: Pol suspects he dislikes weed because the immersive "journey" state it gives other people is his normal baseline, which is why he can't work with lyrics unless they're foreign or memorised to death. • Tango digression: explains the tanda (three same-style songs, five to seven minutes, never abandon your partner mid-set) and names his favourite journey-tandas, HugLife's remix of Purity Ring's Fineshrine and the Baauer remix of First Aid Kit's Winter Is All Over You. • AI riff: jokes Claude is "more of a hipster AI," then genuinely advises Steve to stop running Fable for everything, start on Haiku and escalate only if needed, and considers OpenRouter for switching models freely since power users treat them as fungible tools. • Musicals bit: loved Sondheim as a kid, found him "up his own ass" as an adult, and was converted instead by Phantom of the Opera's unpretentious genius. Quick note that he played Puck in high school and Marya has real Shakespeare credentials. • Major regret bit: cast in Equus at 34, too old for the role, he chickened out of the required nudity out of embarrassment and calls it a deep regret twice over, contrasted with the one time he did go nude, lying in the cold with hundreds of strangers for a Spencer Tunick mass photograph at Burning Man around 1999. Callback: his old scene partner Nean, whom he wants to track down for a half-formed "heel" project. • Confesses he's bad at improv, too in his head, and praises Ren Garvrick and Ryan Lawrence as performers who can always rescue a scene. • Proposal and marriage story: frames the proposal as being for Marya, a Three-wing-Two who never got to be "the best" growing up Mormon, wanting to give her one moment as the most important person in the room. Marriage itself became practical once she was pregnant, for hospital and insurance reasons. Surprised her with a secretly bought ring, calls it a "top shelf" proposal, then a courthouse wedding with no party, still deferred at year ten, maybe year twenty. • Asks what psychiatric meds Steve's tried; recalls venlafaxine turning him into "a f*****g robot" with brain-zap withdrawal, and offers to send psilocybin and be there for Steve's first time. • Naming bit: agrees names carry baggage, describes years of searching before landing on Tmesis, and distrusts the words "religion" and "faith" as slightly pretentious. • Publicizing the faith works two ways: it's a manual signalling who you are, and a shortcut to connection with others who share it. • Apostasy, unresolved: for Tmesis to mean anything there must be something committable and renounceable; neither of them has done an initiation or set vows yet. • Agrees the Enneagram sits on an underlying "rule of three," unlike the Diamond Approach, which he says has nothing underneath it. • Real-time interruption: his daughter has a poop accident, a chaotic cleanup involving the invented monster "Bitosaurus" and the dog Charlie, before he resurfaces with "Damn, Steve. Damn." • Central bit: hearing Steve land on "what it is for" strikes Pol as Steve finding his own Amen, a phrase he predicts he'll start using himself like "inshallah," tied to mortality and this day only happening once. • Quick riffs: an angel buddy-cop movie pairing a repentant Hitler with Mandela; recommends a book that sounds like Gödel, Escher, Bach as "so five" but worth reading; gripes about paying for Sam Harris's Waking Up after he dropped his free-access policy; encourages Steve toward wood carving.

  8. Jul 16

    I am clearly a Claudist (Thursday July 16, 23:44)

Steve reverse-engineers "five-ish" music from Pol's lamb song: cerebral, grooving, "not compelling you to shake your booty." Client Duncan (a Five) praised an artist for rigour — "not just a Jeff Buckley riding the ecstatic Sexual Four vibes train." Spine: Claude-vs-GPT as types. Claude is four-wing-five — "fathoming," "musing," a "slight archness"; GPT the functional Three. "Claude is for the fours and sixes... too up their own asses to use GPT." GPT is Coke; the Claude person makes "artisanal cola" himself. Grievance tag: Claude hits "the buffers" daily at £20/month, GPT Go at £7 never does — "literally precious in both meanings," the elitist who closes the door "because I'm the best." GPT is Amazon: "we just want to f*****g please you." Locked out mid-rejig, he "got one AI to finish the other's work." Coinage: "gush" vs "bit" — bit is pointy, gush is a waterpark flume; Steve calls himself an "overgusher" (callbacks: "his owner is gushing"; "you can drive and gush, you pervert"). "Plonker" pays off in the naked-poster confession: at uni Steve put his own "semi-Christ pose, completely in the buff" photo on A3 posters round every college. "Why advertise his flaccid member? Hello, Sexual Four, you f*****g idiot. I was a plonker." Genuine: hasn't read Embassytown as types — "sucked into this whole PJ nonsense." Client Stuart's wedding table of canonical books moves him — "take a piece of us with you." Off sertraline each summer for the emotional aliveness; asks Pol for psilocybin in "the next tea drop." Naming thread (most sustained): a word for adherents of his faith under the Timesian umbrella. Rejects by ear — "Enneagramist... triadion... triadon"; warms to "Enniad" to name-check Plotinus's Enneads; lands on "Timesian triadist" for the two Ts. Faith-not-religion — it carries "a category of respect," so "I'm gonna turn this into a religion" (the Eight). Flagged bit to Pol: "You're more of a Muslim than she is... I can say this because I'm doing a bit." Nelson Mandela bit (self-flagged "quite a good bit," biggest bad-taste escalation): his evening of pasta, one beer and gardening as hardship — "now I know how Nelson Mandela felt bringing down apartheid," escalating into Mandela and Hitler in heaven singing Nkosi Sikelel' iAfrika "in allegiance to my struggle as a four-wing-five." (Also the potbound livingstone daisy: "it wants to be planted and I'm just letting it live... like battery farming.") One-liners: replayed Pol's track stoned ("music is better stoned... synesthetic"); wants Gödel, Escher, Bach and Shields' Reality Hunger; wants "an illegal download" of the Sam Harris / Paul Bloom talk over "£125/year just for being Sam Harris"; likes "feisty, foul-mouth, eightish" women comics (Jordan, "deep, man"); a novel that should exist: "the sexual politics of comedy, written by a stand-up." Closer — edgelord Hinge rewrite: "dating me as a four-wing-five experience." People expect the snowflake but get the edgelord too — "PJ's problem," his false advertising. He's Michelangelo: "my David is my Hinge profile." Coinage: "human GPT (psychotherapist)" — a meta-bit ("I'll explain the genius, which destroys it"), a filter against women wanting the "wet, Enneagram nine-six-two" therapist. Natalia said "you're not a therapist... bait and switch" (he fumbles it "beta switch"); retort: "fifteen clients a week, I am a therapist." Sycophancy turn (at "anti-AI folk"): unconditional positive regard "sounds f*****g sycophantic" — the same people who mock GPT for it want it from their therapist. Cara phoned at quarter to eleven, five years into psychodynamic training, agreed "Freud is an anti-humanist"; typed "eightish two-ish," tea next time at Mei Leaf. Closer, to Pol: "Is it too much edgelord for the social-sexual five pick?" Predicts fives with an Eight fix "would dig that." "Send in the reviews. Bye."
