The Pistomechanics Podcast
Belief. This is the programming already running you. Your actions come from your thoughts, and your thoughts come from beliefs you never chose. Pistomechanics is the study of how belief is engineered. How it is built, installed, defended, and weaponised across rhetoric, neuroscience, theology, marketing, propaganda, hypnosis, and self-transformation. A sermon, a therapy session, a political rally, and an interrogation perform the same operation on the same substrate. The engineering problem is identical; only the machinery changes. For millennia, everyone who used belief as a weapon or a laboratory wrote down what worked. Philosophers, priests, generals, ad men, states. That library is open now, and the algorithms have read it end to end. This show reads it with you: how a belief forms and stratifies, from the opinion you'd change over lunch to the perception you call reality; how installations get past your defences; why the change you want most is the one your own system vetoes; how to catch an operation running in the feed, the pitch, the liturgy, your own morning; and how civilisations rise and fall on the same mechanics, at scale. The goal is literacy, and past literacy, the ability to run the sequence deliberately on the one mind you have the right to engineer. Your own. From Eron Falbo, creator of pistomechanics.org. New episodes weekly. What can be studied can be learned.
