John heard what the seven thunders said. He understood it. He picked up his pen.And a voice from heaven told him: don't write it.That is the only content in all of Revelation that God commanded to be sealed. Not Daniel's visions those were sealed until the time of the end. Not Paul's inexpressible words those were simply too much for human language. This was sealed on purpose. Hidden intentionally. Omitted deliberately. And then immediately after the sealing the angel raises his right hand to heaven and swears the most solemn oath in the book.No more delay.→ The sealed thunders - why God shows things He doesn't let us share, and what that says about His sovereignty→ The Daniel 12 contrast - sealed because of delay vs sealed because the time is almost up→ The oath — what it means when God swears by Himself, and why this oath is the answer to the martyrs' cry from Revelation 6→ No more delay - what exactly is no longer being delayed, and what starts moving the moment the seventh trumpet sounds→ The mystery of God finished - what mystery, what prophets, and what it means that everything was announced before it arrived→ What God's deliberate withholding means for the things He hasn't shown you yetStay until the end. The oath is the most important thing said in this entire interlude.🔔 Subscribe for daily Revelation lives✍️ Journal interest list: kingdomkall.co🕊 Share with someone who is asking God: how much longer?Theological voices that shape my studies: C.S. The angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised up his hand to heaven and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there should be delay no longer, but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets. Revelation 6:9–10 (NKJV) When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, 'How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?' Daniel 12:4 (NKJV) But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.
