Enough Already

Lauren Craddock

Enough Already: Minimalism and Intentional Habits to Create Space for What Matters Most. There's a moment most of us reach — when what we're holding onto stops serving us and starts costing us. Time. Energy. Peace. Impact. Space. Enough Already is for high-capacity people who are thriving in some areas and surviving in others, and who are ready to examine what's actually in the way. Hosted by Lauren Craddock — author of Own With Intention, minimalist coach, and teacher — this show explores minimalism not as an aesthetic, but as a practice. A way of asking harder questions about what you own, how you spend your time, and what beliefs are driving your life. Each episode combines real-life minimalism, transformative habits, and honest conversations with people who hit their own "enough already" moment and chose differently. This isn't about perfect homes or extreme minimalism. It's about creating space for what matters most. Choose intentionally. Live transformed.

"I Might Need This Someday" Trap

"I might need this someday" sounds like preparation. Lauren calls it what it was for her: a scarcity story. After moving a U-Haul's worth of belongings across the country and releasing them over the following seven months, she shares what that story cost, what was underneath it, and how to test it. In this episode: Why gifts started your life and don't have to stay foreverWhy the item sitting unused in your home is the real wasteHow to keep what you're using in a tight season, and release the projection about the futureThe two things Lauren missed out of everything she releasedA faith-rooted question: what am I putting my hope in?The Someday Box, a 90-day test for things you struggle to release Mini Move: Pick one item you're keeping for a hypothetical future. Finish the sentence: "I'm keeping this because I'm afraid that ___." Then ask whether you use it and will realistically use it this season. If you're unsure, box it, label it 90 days out, and set a reminder. New episode every other Wednesday. Decluttering vs. Minimalism: Why One Didn't Change My Life

Decluttering vs. Minimalism: Why One Didn't Change My Life Decluttering and minimalism get used like they mean the same thing. They don't — and mixing them up is why so many organizing efforts don't stick. In this episode, I go back to a season years ago when I was a young, overwhelmed mom spending hours every night resetting a house that never stayed reset. I found decluttering, threw myself into it — I even filmed myself clearing out my closet — and it worked, for a while. Then the clutter came back, because I'd removed the stuff without ever examining why I'd accumulated it in the first place. I walk through why "declutter" is only an action, while minimalism functions as a verb, a noun, and an identity — and why that distinction matters more than it sounds. Clutter isn't the problem. It's the symptom of stories and habits underneath that haven't been addressed yet. I also share how my own core priorities (family, faith, impact) became the filter that made letting go of things easier, and why minimalism works best as a practice you build in small, compounding steps rather than a one-time project.
