Not just in church... not only during worship... but in your kitchen... around your dinner table... while folding laundry... driving to work... or sitting quietly with your morning coffee? What if God has been pursuing you... even in the ordinary moments? Welcome to Heaven Meets Home. I'm your host, Rachel Christine. This is more than a podcast. It's an invitation... to discover that the presence of God isn't reserved for extraordinary places. His heart has always been to dwell with His people. To meet us... right where we are. Heaven Meets Home began with one simple prayer. "Lord... show me Your heart." I wasn't asking for a ministry. I wasn't looking for a podcast. I simply wanted to know Him more. And in one of the quietest moments of my life... Jesus answered. Not through thunder. Not through spectacle. But through a gentle whisper. He said... "Home is where My heart is." Those words changed everything. Because I realized God's greatest desire isn't simply that we visit Him once a week. His desire is to make His home with us. In our marriages. In our families. In our conversations. In our celebrations. In our heartbreak. In our ordinary, everyday lives. Because when Jesus is welcomed into an ordinary home... He does extraordinary things. Every week we'll gather around stories of radical faith... powerful testimonies... answered prayers... divine appointments... miracles... and everyday encounters with an extraordinary God. Not to glorify people... but to glorify the God who still heals... still speaks... still delivers... still restores... and still changes lives today. Because He is the same yesterday... today... and forever. Psalm 145:4 says, "One generation shall declare Your works to another and shall proclaim Your mighty acts." For centuries, families gathered together to tell stories of God's faithfulness. Children grew up hearing how God provided. How He rescued. How He healed. How He remained faithful. Those stories became the foundation of generations. Somewhere along the way... we stopped telling them. My prayer is that Heaven Meets Home becomes a place where those stories live again. Where faith is strengthened. Hope is restored. And the next generation learns that our God is still moving today. Psalm 145:18 reminds us, "The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth."
