The Blackhawk and Gold Podcast

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of Bergeron, it was the age of Bedard, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity about the Blackhawks Scandal, it was the season of Chára, it was the season of Coach Q, it was the spring of hope, it was usually the winter of despair for the Blackhawks, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us after Bergy retired, we were all going direct to Heaven and The Cup, we were all going direct the other way to golfing instead of the postseason – in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only to the era of Patrice Bergeron-Cleary. Two bizarrely, dichotomously similar and angst-ridden cities, rife with front office and back-door issues, but in my bias, I’m forever Boston. This is a fun podcast by smart fans who care and won’t talk down to you; give it a listen! And, GO B’s!!!!! 🐻

A charming, lighthearted, and thoughtful hockey conversation between two entertaining co-hosts. Nice to hear the differing perspectives from two very different fanbases. All fanbases have their quirks. It’s kind of cool to hear two die hard fans compare theirs in an interesting and respectful way.
