Both are admissible forms of evidence. Today, we address a crime being committed in dining rooms, offices, and coffee shops across the globe. A silent, high-frequency atrocity that is slowly curdling the collective human soul. There are only four rooms entitled to harsh white light: * An operating theatre * A dental surgery * A supermarket stockroom * Any room in which one is actively attempting to identify termites I say this with zero hyperbole: installing stark white lightbulbs in a residential setting ought to require a medical licence. And in the absence of one, should at least trigger a mandatory visit from a local authority. Before you screw a lightbulb into a fixture, you must establish a clear line of inquiry: * What is your purpose in this room? * What is the required emotional state to fulfil that purpose? * And what precise electromagnetic envelope will enable that mindset? Instead, modern humanity simply walks into a hardware store, buys a four-pack of 6500-Kelvin LED blighters that emit the harsh glare of an interrogation chamber, and screws them into a bedside lamp. It is stark, raving insanity. The Palaeolithic Sunset vs. The Landlord Special Lighting is not merely a utility; it is a neurological environment. Coloured light can create atmosphere, or it can make a respectable home resemble a gaming keyboard. Use it as punctuation. Not prose. We do not wear the same shoes to a wedding, a trek, and the shower, at least not successfully.
