This is Liz Haislip beyond the highlights. Known to many as the woman behind Pebby Forevee, Liz has built a brand, a community, and a life that looks bold from the outside—but this podcast is about everything that happened along the way. Through honest stories, personal reflections, hard-earned lessons, and the experiences that have shaped her, Liz is pulling back the curtain on business, motherhood, relationships, reinvention, confidence, and what it really looks like to keep becoming who you are meant to be. Expect real conversations, plenty of personality, and the kind of honesty that makes you feel like you are sitting down with a friend who is willing to say the thing everyone else is thinking. This is Liz, unfiltered—and there is a lot more to the story.

Body Neutrality On Bad Body Days

The fastest way to spot what we actually believe about ourselves is to listen to how we talk about clothes, bodies, and relationships when we’re not trying to sound polished. We start with unfiltered fashion opinions, then shift into something surprisingly useful: what to do on the days you hate everything about your body. We share a simple confidence boost, but we spend more time on the practice that sticks, body neutrality. It’s the step-by-step language that pulls you out of shame and back into reality by naming what your arms, stomach, and legs do for you every single day.  From there, we move into the bigger life questions hiding under “style.” We talk matching sets, leggings as pants, skinny jeans, crop tops, designer bags, and why “no white after Memorial Day” is a rule you can throw away. Underneath the hot takes is a theme: confidence comes from permission and self-trust, not from getting it “right.” That theme shows up again when we talk motherhood, boundaries, and why kids benefit from seeing their mom choose herself sometimes. Martyrdom doesn’t earn a trophy, but balance, communication, and honesty teach your child what a full life looks like.  We also get real about female friendships and modern communication. Assuming you know what someone meant can quietly blow up a relationship, especially when group chats turn playful texts into high-stakes interpretations. We share the sentence that helps repair weird energy, plus thoughts on location sharing, going to bed angry with intention, unfollowing vs muting, and what “high maintenance” can mean when it’s actually self-maintenance. Then we close with a raw story of betrayal, therapy, nervous system fallout, and the long road from heartbreak to building a powerhouse brand.  If any part of this hit home, subscribe, share this with a friend who needs the reminder, and leave a review so more people can find us. What’s the moment that flipped your life in a better direction? Come hang out with me. 💚

My Body Changed. Did I Leave You Behind?

Okay, we’re talking about body image today. And whew... this one has layers. I’ve always believed that how you feel about yourself when you walk out the door matters. Not because you need to look a certain way or fit into some impossible version of “perfect,” but because the way you feel in your own skin has a sneaky little way of touching everything else. Your confidence. Your choices. Your relationships. Your life. My body has been through a LOT. Weight gain, weight loss, pregnancy, loose skin, C-sections, mom belly—all of it. And if you’ve followed me or Pebby Forevee for any amount of time, you’ve watched a lot of that happen right alongside me. But the last time I lost weight, something felt different. I was genuinely afraid that by choosing my health, I was somehow abandoning the women who had connected with me because of my body. I worried people would think I had changed. That I thought I was better than them. That I was leaving them behind. And if I’m being really vulnerable? I understood that feeling because I’ve been on the other side of it too. I’ve watched women I love start choosing themselves, getting healthier, feeling more confident and stepping into a different version of themselves—and instead of only feeling happy for them, sometimes it held up a mirror to all the ways I wasn’t choosing myself. That’s the conversation today. Body image. Dysmorphia. Comparison. Identity. Health. Worthiness. And learning that somebody else changing doesn’t mean they’re leaving you behind. And neither does you changing. Our bodies are a journey. Mine is. Yours is. And maybe instead of asking each other to stay exactly where we found one another, we can just keep showing up for each other through all the versions. I’d really love to hear from you on this one: Have you ever felt like someone you related to started changing and suddenly you didn’t know where you fit anymore? Or have you ever been afraid to change because of what the people around you might think? Let’s talk about it.

    Learning Who Elizabeth Actually Is

For a really long time, I thought who I was and what I could do for people were basically the same thing. I could make you laugh. I could build something. I could make things easier. I could show up, perform, produce, give, fix, provide. And somewhere along the way, I learned to attach my value to all of it. Then I built Pebby. And for years, Elizabeth and Pebby became so intertwined that I’m not sure I knew where one ended and the other began. In this episode, I’m talking about what happened when I finally started asking a question that sounds simple but absolutely was not: Who am I when you take all of that away? Not the business owner. Not the mom. Not the friend, spouse, partner, helper, achiever or person making everyone else feel good. Just me. I get into realizing how much of my life had been built around earning love, the little girl who decided very early that being valuable meant being useful, and why achievement never really fixed the disconnected feeling underneath it all. And weirdly enough, I’m grateful for so much of it now. The relationships that didn’t work. The hard seasons. Building a business while carrying things I didn’t even realize I was carrying. Because all of it eventually forced me to figure out who I actually am underneath the performance. At almost 40, this is brand-new work for me. And if you’ve ever wondered who you are without what you produce, provide, accomplish or do for everyone else…this one is for you. Come hang out with me.

You Can’t Order Filet Mignon at Taco Bell

Calling off an engagement is not a plot twist, it is a clarity test. We sit down and talk honestly about what happens when you have built a full life, a growing business, and the kind of independence that once felt like safety, then realize it has also kept you from the closeness you actually want. I share why I stepped back from being public, how that distance created a disconnect between me as a human and me as a businesswoman, and why coming back to conversation feels like coming home. From there, we get real about attachment styles, especially avoidant attachment, and how two people can care about each other yet still be completely misaligned on intimacy, time, and emotional presence. I walk through the mindset shift that came from deep self-exploration, including ayahuasca as a catalyst, and the longer path of building self-compassion. The biggest change is learning I deserve unconditional love without needing to earn it through looks, success, or what I can provide. Then we take it into modern dating: the moment I stopped dating for validation, the “filet mignon at Taco Bell” mistake of asking the wrong source for the right thing, and how I am testing alignment now by letting men lead and seeing who shows up with care. We talk feminine energy, masculine energy, being sapiosexual, and real-world tools like The League, Hinge, Bumble, and even matchmaking. If you are navigating dating after a breakup, rebuilding confidence, or trying to move toward secure attachment, you will leave with language and permission to raise your bar. If this resonates, subscribe, share it with a friend who needs the reframe, and leave us a review.
