How to Rebuild Your Life After Everything Falls Apart

What happens when you've experienced more challenges than you ever imagined, but your story is still unfolding? In this episode, I sit down with Allayah Beamon for an honest conversation about faith, healing, unhealthy relationships, and rebuilding your life after difficult experiences. Allayah shares parts of her journey, from building a successful business at a young age to battling cancer, navigating other serious health challenges, and surviving near-death experiences. She also opens up about her experiences in unhealthy relationships, including a difficult marriage and the decision to open that marriage because she felt she wasn't meeting her husband's needs. We talk about the impact of those experiences, finding her footing after divorce, navigating the loss of her father, and how her relationship with God has grown through different seasons of her life. Today, Allayah uses her experiences to encourage other women to deepen their faith, embrace new beginnings, and recognize that their lives can still be meaningful and fulfilling even when things haven't gone as planned. This conversation is a reminder that painful experiences don't have to define the rest of your story, and there's still room for healing, growth, and purpose. Trusting God When You Have to Start Over

What does it look like to keep choosing God when obedience requires you to leave behind what’s familiar? In this episode, I sit down with Whitney “Planejayne” Jones for an honest conversation about faith, identity, hardship, and the journey of becoming who God has called her to be. Whitney shares what it was like growing up in the church, including some of the social pressures and painful experiences that came with not always fitting the expectations placed on her. We talk about learning to embrace who she is despite criticism, navigating two divorces, and eventually making the decision to leave Miami and move to Texas with no family nearby because she believed God was leading her there. She also opens up about the sacrifices of being a single mother, rebuilding after difficult seasons, and what obedience to God has required of her along the way. Through loss, transition, criticism, and starting over, Whitney’s faith has remained an important part of how she continues to move forward. Now, she’s stepping more fully into her purpose and ministry and using her experiences to encourage others who are finding their own voice, healing from the past, and learning to trust God with what comes next. This conversation is a reminder that walking in purpose doesn’t mean the road there will be easy. Sometimes becoming who God is calling you to be requires the courage to keep going when the path looks nothing like you expected. What It Really Takes to Build a Healthy Marriage

In this episode, I sit down with a couple who has been married for 29 years to talk honestly about what they’ve learned through nearly three decades of marriage. They share how they met, the challenges they’ve faced, and what they believe has helped them build a healthy marriage that continues to work through different seasons of life. We talk about the hard truths of marriage, getting to know your spouse beyond who you thought they were, navigating challenges together, and the importance of keeping God at the center of both your marriage and your individual lives. Marriage takes work, but they don’t believe that means it shouldn’t also be fun. After 29 years, two children, and two grandchildren, they share what has helped them continue to enjoy each other, grow together, and choose their marriage through the years. Whether you’re married, preparing for marriage, or simply want healthier relationships, this conversation is an honest look at faith, love, commitment, and what it takes to build a marriage you actually enjoy. 🙌🏾 Follow LaToya and Marlon: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/enjoyingyourmarriage?stkn=cDVyNG9jMm52bW5y Twitter (X): https://x.com/enjoyurmarriage ❤️✨Follow Me for more relationship Tips: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/the.cozy_place/ Tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@the.cozy_place Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/people/The-Cozy-Place-with-Brittany-Banks/61591325617349/
