MORE LIFE With Meg Jackson

Meg Jackson

Nobody actually wants a smaller number on the scale. What you want is more. More energy at the end of the day. More presence with your kids. More capacity to say yes to the thing that scares you a little. That's what health is really for. And it starts in your mind before it ever shows up in your body. Because the story you tell yourself about what you're capable of is the ceiling on everything else. I'm Meg. Mom and endurance athlete. Losing 100 pounds was never the finish line. It was the door. On the other side of it I found out what my body and my belief could really do. Eleven half and

    33. It Feels Good To Feel Good, And You Deserve More Of That

What if feeling good wasn't something you had to wait around for? What if you could actually create a habit of generating it, on purpose, with your own thoughts and actions? That's what this episode is about. I'm walking you through how the way you think and the way you move can create the feeling of feeling good, and here's the best part: it's contagious. When you feel good, you want more of it, so you naturally do the next healthy thing. And the next one. And that's how following through stops being a battle and starts being something you actually crave until it becomes your default mode. We get into how your body is listening to everything you tell it, the mindset study that still blows my mind, and the one tool I come back to again and again: the model. Circumstance, thought, feeling, action, result. It's the thing that showed me we have so much more say in how we feel than we ever give ourselves credit for. Once you see it, you can't unsee it. So if you've been waiting to feel ready, or waiting for next Monday, this is your reminder that you get to create the feeling of being ready NOW so you can live more life NOW. We get one shot, no dress rehearsal; let's f*cking go. 28. Proximity Is Power: Who You're Around Is Either Fueling Your Goals or Feeding Your Excuses

Have you ever pulled an orange out of the fruit bowl and realized the one underneath went moldy... and took the others with it? The people around you work the same way. Their energy, their habits, their beliefs about what’s possible. It’s all rubbing off on you, whether you notice it or not. So which is your circle doing: fueling your goals, or feeding your excuses? In this episode, I’m taking you inside my Rim to Rim to Rim experience through the Grand Canyon and showing you how one weekend with the right people completely changed what I believe I’m capable of. If you’re a mom who keeps setting health and fitness goals, getting excited, and then watching it all fizzle out, this episode will show you the missing piece. It’s not more discipline. It’s proximity. You’ll hear: Why the “sum of 5 people” rule matters more than ever (and how it works online, not just in person) The one line a stranger said at 2 AM that changed the direction of my entire business How the right leadership can be the difference between thriving and barely surviving (literally, in the Canyon) The shift from pushing from force to pulling from power Why the fastest way to finally follow through is changing who’s around you And if you’re ready for a circle that fuels your goals, come join us inside The Follow Through Collective. It’s a completely free group for moms working on their health, fitness, and mindset, and you can jump in at any time. Click HERE to fill out the sign-up form!
