This is Strange Streams, the official unofficial Weird Tubi podcast. Our mission is to scour the darkest corners of free streaming services to uncover films ranging from forgotten B-movie classics, to no-budget backyard epics, to bizarre oddities that defy easy categorization. We disregard traditional genre categories because the only genre that matters is beautiful, glorious trash! Lo-fi splatter showcases, grindhouse crime dramas, mockbuster monster mashups, sleazy European softcore, 80’s boner comedies, made-for-TV monstrosities and beyond! Strange Streams will be here every month to give these movies a thoughtful analysis—whether they merit one or not.

Reba McEntire Doesn't Play That Sh*t

SO YOUNG, SO BAD, SO WHAT? We're in the slammer for the crime of bad taste this month with REFORM SCHOOL GIRLS (1986). Somewhere between a music video and Frederick's of Hollywood ad, Wendy O. Williams and Pat Ast join forces to terrorize the delinquents of Pridemore Juvenile Facility. Don't go in the woods! It's all sass for this 'squatch in 2006's ABOMINABLE. Hitchcock goes schlock in this 00s retelling of REAR WINDOW. A bachelorette party goes from "Woo!" to weird as our widowed paraplegic hero plots from his window after ladies and limbs start flying! Backyard archeology in the wilds of northern Pennsylvania collides with no budget filmmaking for a roaring good time with Mark Polonia's Jurassic love letter, SAURIANS (1994). A creature feature that dares to ask, "What's that smell?" All that and more on this month's episode of STRANGE STREAMS. Will you answer the call of the wild? — 00:01:46 - opening banter and Reform School Girls (1986) 00:44:53 - Abominable (2006) 01:21:40 - Saurians (1994) and closing banter — Opening theme and interstitial music by BUTTHOLE SKULL Say what up strangestreamspod@proton.me Find us on Insta https://www.instagram.com/strangestreamspod

    F*ck You, Dracula! b/w Librarians F*ck

UNDEAD, UNDEAD, UNDEAD! October is HORNY VAMPIRE MONTH on Strange Streams! We are back with an episode you can really sink your teeth into. VAMPYRE (1990) rises from the crypt to guide us through mist-laden woods, besiege us on all sides by gently sunlit t*****s, and have us bear witness to an incredible death-by-sword-leg! BLOOD SCARAB (2008) It's the curse of 2000s softcore horror comedy! In this historically inaccurate tale, Blood Countess Elizabeth Bathory wants to walk in sunlight and will draw the power from the titty blood of her vampire brides and summon Egyptian deity Hathor! SHARKULA (2022) We awaken this vampire tale from its final resting place in the Poloniaverse. Come take a journey to a quaint fishing community in New England where Dracula is under the thrall of the cartilaginous living dead. It's a deep sea Drac Attack! Join the fanged fun this month where b-movies live forever. Won't you invite us in? — Opening Banter: 01:56 Vampyre (1990) 09:55 Blood Scarab (2008) 34:17 Sharkula (2022) 58:40 — Opening theme and interstitial music by BUTTHOLE SKULL Say what up: strangestreamspod@proton.me Find us on Insta https://www.instagram.com/strangestreamspod Donald Glut interview with Film Courage: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLez8jOvskc-P3a1l2B8scuFHlAmkTvTM7

Bennapalooza! (ft. Paul "Duck" Tucker - Amityvillenado, Clownsquatch, For God's Sake Get Out!)

Come with us as we scour the darkest corners of free streaming services to uncover films ranging from forgotten B-movie classics, to no-budget backyard epics, to bizarre oddities that defy easy categorization. With co-host Emily on medical leave (it involves a South Jersey vampire gang and illegal gambling on BMX racing) James and Heather call an audible and pick up our Amityville In Space discussion from last month, expanding our focus to include Mark Polonia and Jeff Kirkendall's entire Father Benna quadrilogy. We pull in one hell of a ringer: Duck of the For God's Sake Get Out podcast, director of the films Clownsquatch and Amityvillenado and vocalist in the bands Use The Map and Joystick! In addition to the Benna saga, we touch on topics including the ethics of AI in B-movies, titty mandates, the Northern Lights, Hangin' dong, Neil Breen's casting protocol, and what in the actual hell Bill Zebub's problem is. --- 02:31 - Opening Banter 15:37 - Amityville Exorcism 29:05 - Noah's Shark 43:36 - Amityville In Space 1:00:10 - Amityville Rex 1:24:00 - Closing Banter --- Bother us on the interwebs: IG: https://www.instagram.com/strangestreamspod/ EMAIL: strangestreamspod@proton.me Opening and interstitial music by BUTTHOLE SKULL --- Check out Duck's Amityville pod here: https://open.spotify.com/show/00te5YDCmVUMEOrfpjCUO6 Check out Duck's music https://joysticknola.bandcamp.com/music https://usethemap.bandcamp.com/album/is-dying https://bettywhitetitfuckofficial.bandcamp.com/album/god-save-the-queef Watch Amityvillenado: https://tubitv.com/movies/100054206/amityvillenado

    Pillars of Garbage

Come with us as we scour the darkest corners of free streaming services to uncover films ranging from forgotten B-movie classics, to no-budget backyard epics, to bizarre oddities that defy easy categorization. In this episode, get in the yellow goop with us as we explore alien abductions with a side of boobs, beers, and baths in Odd Noggins (2015). Then, crawl into the walls with us like the little creeper you are as we discuss the Oedipal, proto-incel tale of Bad Ronald (made-for-tv, (1974). (Sadly, the Amityville in Space (2022) portion of the show was glorped up by pharmacy Halloween costume space goblins.) 01:43 Opening banter 12:03 Odd Noggins 31:28 Bad Ronald 57:42 Amityville In Space IG: https://www.instagram.com/strangestreamspod/ EMAIL: strangestreamspod@proton.me
