“Finding Our Way” is an oral history archive of Afro-Diasporic Guitar Traditions. It aims to document the lives, artistic philosophies, musical practices, and cultural perspectives of composers, arrangers, performers, educators, and scholars of African descent connected to the guitar. Through in-depth interviews, the project seeks to preserve personal histories, explore African diasporic influences in guitar music, and contribute to the development of AfroClassical Guitar scholarship.
