A Plains Gothic

Today, the Great Plains are part of America’s 'breadbasket,' a vast swath of land dominated by farms and ranches in states pejoratively considered flyover territory. Yet the prairie, like any other place on earth, wasn’t always considered so benign. A Plains Gothic is a short story anthology exploring the darker side of the Great Plains, written and narrated by emerging author William Stanton. Each season features a different story of gothic horror set in the past yet with themes hauntingly familiar to modern audiences.
