    The Creative Power to Start Over

    You can start over. At any age. I know, I’ve done it. I am doing it. The this is you need to face the void that comes after tearing your life down. There’s a time for everything under the sun, and God make available his creative power to you and I at every stage or our rebuilding. You just need to ask.Come along, as I explore in this episode, through the account of creation in Genesis and the book of Ecclesiastes, how God’s process of creation first started by hovering over the formless void that was the earth in the beginning. He then spoke a cores intent into the void for light to appear, and it was so. Because he saw light as good, he gave it a name, day, and the darkness became night. He then separated light from darkness, setting each one in its place. There was an evening, and a morning, thus the first day was born.Just as we are made in his image, we have the capacity, and the authority to speak what we want to create into the void. Everything we see around us first starting with intent to make something out of nothing. God’s creative power is in us. His strength and his grace are there to give us courage to face our darkness and voice and create again. There is a time for tearing down, and a time to rebuild.     The Power of the Gospel: More than a starting point

    If there’s a verse that might be known universally among believers professing salvation in Christ is John 3:16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. It’s the first verse we memorize before moving on to the “deeper and greater” of the Bible. But what if the gospel isn’t something you graduate from? In this episode, we sit with Romans 1:16-17 and John 3:16-21, and unpack why Paul says he’s “not ashamed of the gospel” — because it’s the power of God to first save all who believe in their heart and confess Jesus Christ as LORD and Saviour through the blood he shed on the cross for mankind, thus revealing in it his righteousness that increases by faith from first to last. This episode gets personal: a recent season of weariness, a guard let down, a fall — and the reminder that the just falls seven times, and rises again, because the Lord catches him. The gospel isn’t just how you get in. It’s the power that carries you through every season — deliverance, restoration, righteousness, and the strength to walk in dominion, to the glory of God. The revelation of God's righteousness deepens with every day we walk with Him — and it's this revelation that revives our faith to begin a new chapter, keep going, or follow the path He's tracing for us.
