    How Separation Led Me Back Home to Myself

    This short, but potent, episode feels like a confession of so much that has been buried in shame for me the past few years. At the beginning of this year, my marriage took a turn I didn’t foresee. It’s clear now that this wasn’t the beginning of a descent, it was the end – rock bottom. The past few years have felt like traversing the underworld in my own personal descent of Inanna. (IYKYK) But what I discovered at the very bottom, after everything else was stripped away, was simply myself. Though this is deeply personal, and I’ve struggled with if or how to share this story, it felt important to bring some aspects to light and lay this on the altar, too.
