The Emmaus Podcast’s purpose is to see how all of scripture points toward Jesus. There may not be a moment I envy more than the road to Emmaus. On Resurrection day, two men are walking home from Jerusalem. Unbeknownst to them, Jesus walks up and joins their journey. Luke records for us, that beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, Jesus began to interpret to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself. Just imagine the power of that conversation! The Lord Himself opens His Word, showing them how every promise, every sacrifice, every story is fulfilled through Him.
