    Episode 7: Fantasy Football Draft Guide, CFB Kickoff & Preseason Concerns Raising Fans is back with another packed episode as football season officially gets closer! We kick things off with The First 3, catching up on what's happening in our world—including Masen's return from Alaska—before jumping into our fantasy leagues. We get into some fantasy baseball league drama, including the debate over whether Masen was playing dirty by picking up starting pitchers on the final night of the matchup and Jordan's battle for the final playoff spot. We also introduce the new Chopped fantasy league and talk about some of our favorite drafts and teams so far. The main event is a full-on fantasy football draft discussion. What's our draft strategy? Jordan explains his Hero RB approach, while Masen focuses on building a roster that feels secure and avoiding overly risky rookie-heavy builds. We also reveal the players we absolutely need to leave our drafts with, from WR value plays and homer picks to reliable running backs and QB/WR stacks. Then we flip the script: Who won't make our roster even if they're the last player available?     Raising Fans Episode 6

    Episode 6: NBA Moves, Golf Competition & Offseason Chaos Raising Fans is back with another episode featuring a little friendly competition, plenty of NBA offseason drama, and a look ahead at what's coming next. We kick things off with Off The Bench, our segment where we give a quick rundown of the sports we—or our kids—are actually playing. Jordan takes us onto the golf course, where he and seven coworkers are competing in a scramble-style FedEx Cup. The competition is all about having fun, earning points, and building a big prize pot throughout the year. Round one didn't exactly go according to plan. Jordan struggled to hit some greens, and his team ultimately finished last out of four teams, earning zero points. With $10 per round going toward the year-end pot, there's still plenty of golf—and plenty of time to make a comeback. This episode's main focus is the NBA offseason, and we're taking turns picking our favorite moves and storylines to get the conversation rolling. We start with a little Utah homer talk, breaking down the NBA Draft and the changes coming to the Jazz, including AJ leaving and DP coming in. Then we get into some of the league's biggest moves and biggest questions: Trust the Process? We discuss LeBron's decision to sign for $8 million and Brown acquired through trade.Giannis to Miami?     Episode 5: Preseason Reactions, Fantasy Implications & Playoff Predictions Raising Fans is back with another loaded episode as we break down preseason performances, what they could mean for the regular season, and how they might impact our fantasy leagues. We start with our biggest real-game preseason takeaways, including Malik Willis, who went 4-for-5 for 43 yards, and a Denver Broncos team that gave us plenty to talk about. We discuss Courtland Sutton's impressive highlight grabs and where he fits in Denver's receiver hierarchy, while the Broncos' defensive secondary creates another interesting storyline with a ton of depth and difficult roster decisions ahead. Jahdae's 97-yard pick-six and Riley Moss' interception highlight just how competitive that group could be. We also dive into Ty Simpson, whether the Rams made the right move, and whether Simpson could be a future quarterback to keep an eye on. Then there's Jeremiah Love's injury and why it may be more serious than some people initially thought. Are the Baltimore Ravens finally building a legitimate receiving corps? We talk about Zay Flowers' extension and rookie Jacobi Lane's debut. The rookie quarterback class also gets plenty of attention. With several 2025 rookie QBs struggling, we debate whether Tyler Shough and Jaxson Dart are showing more than Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward. We start with a Fantasy Baseball update, followed by fantasy football draft tips. Then we jump into our MLB playoff bracket predictions and team tiers. We break the American League and National League into six tiers, from the teams we believe are legitimate World Series favorites all the way down to the teams that need major changes. Who are the contenders, who could surprise us, and who are already looking toward next season? From baseball, we head to the NBA schedule, highlighting some of the biggest games and storylines of the upcoming season. We talk about LeBron vs. Curry, Jaylen Brown returning to Boston, the Christmas Day slate, and several other games we have circled—including 76ers vs. Cavaliers, Thunder vs. Pacers, Wizards vs. Jazz, and a loaded Week 23. We kick things off with our CFB 27 Dynasty, breaking down the latest conference races, looking at the teams making their push toward the playoff, and highlighting the biggest statistical leaders around the league. Who is positioning themselves for a playoff run, and who is starting to fall behind? Then we hit the ice and turn our attention to the Utah Mammoth and whether they can take the next step in the NHL. We also dive into the latest NHL expansion rumors and talk about where the league could potentially go next. From the ice to the track, we head into NASCAR, where we break down Ty Gibbs' breakout season. We also take a look at Tyler Reddick's historic season, his playoff position, and just how impressive his run has been. Finally, we fire up the dirt bikes for Supercross. We get into the ongoing gas vs. electric debate and the controversy surrounding the first race ending early because of high winds.     Raising Fans – Episode 1: Welcome to the Show! Welcome to the very first episode of Raising Fans! We’re two brother-in-laws, dads, and sports fans kicking off a new show where we talk about the sports we love, the leagues we compete in, and everything in between. In Episode 1, we start by introducing ourselves and giving you a little background on who we are. We then dive into our CBF27 Dynasty League and some of our fantasy football leagues, including what makes these leagues so competitive—and fun. From there, we head to the diamond to talk MLB, including some of our likes and dislikes surrounding the trade deadline and the moves that caught our attention. Finally, we look ahead at what you can expect from Raising Fans as the show grows. More sports, more leagues, more opinions, and plenty of friendly arguments are coming your way.
