    What If God Doesn't Heal

    In this second episode of Stop the Drift, we confront a troubling question: What if God’s greatest goal is not to heal you, but to conform you to the image of Christ? The church can easily adopt therapeutic ideas that redefine sin as brokenness, repentance as recovery, and sanctification as a journey of self discovery. Drawing from 2 Corinthians 12:9, this episode examines the promise God never made, the exhausting pilgrimage that promise creates, and the thorn God may choose not to remove. The danger is not in praying for healing, but in believing that Christ has failed when healing does not come. Sometimes God does not remove the weakness because He intends to display the sufficiency of His grace through it.

    The Famine in a Church Full of Bibles

    In this first episode of Stop the Drift, we examine a sobering paradox: the church can be full of Bibles and still experience a famine for the Word of God. We have sermons, podcasts, books, and more access to Scripture than ever, yet we can still be rich in content and starving in discernment. Drawing from Amos 8:11, this episode asks whether our problem is really a lack of truth, or a failure to rightly hear it. The danger is not that God has stopped speaking, but that culture, assumptions, and competing voices have shaped how we listen.
