    May They Be ONE

    What does it really mean to be ONE? In the very first episode of the B1church Podcast, Pastor Blake and Mark sit down for an honest conversation about why this podcast exists, why our church is called ONE Church, and the heart behind the words “May they be one” from Jesus’ prayer in John 17. We talk about the challenge of following Jesus in a divided world, why oneness isn't the same as sameness, and what it looks like for the church to become a place where people can belong before they behave or believe. We also continue the conversation from this week's message in Luke 19, looking at Jesus and Zacchaeus and what his willingness to pursue someone everyone else had written off teaches us about friendship, grace, belonging, and loving people who may be very different from us. The goal isn't to have all the answers. It's to keep having the conversation—to go a little deeper than we can on Sunday, laugh a little, ask better questions, and figure out together what it really looks like to follow Jesus in everyday life.
