Thank you for your support. Is this the beginning of the end for LIV Golf? This week on Golf Rehab, Pete and James break down Wyndham Clark’s win at the BMW Championship, Rory McIlroy’s latest comments about LIV players returning to the PGA Tour, and the big questions surrounding LIV Golf’s future. We also discuss Tyrrell Hatton’s hilarious “I Want to Break Free” walkout, Michael La Sasso’s breakthrough LIV win, Bryson DeChambeau’s future and whether he’s becoming more YouTuber than professional golfer. Plus, we get into a controversial Good Good driver advertisement, a brutal two-shot penalty on the DP World Tour, a 16-year-old amateur making waves on the LPGA Tour, and plenty of questionable amateur golf stories. On the equipment side, we compare driving irons, hybrids and 7-woods, talk about why lower ball flight can be a huge advantage in the wind, and James puts Pete through another putting drill as he continues his quest to get his handicap down. Golf Rehab is about tour golf, equipment, amateur golf, industry talk and plenty of banter — all from the perspective of a former professional and a golfer in his 50s trying to get better. Because Golf Rehab isn't about recovering from golf… it's accepting that none of us ever will. send us a message

Golf Rehab | Episode 2: Four-Putts, Practice & Keeping Golf Real

In Episode 2 of Golf Rehab, Pete and James are back — although this week they're recording from different locations. They kick things off with the latest from professional golf, including Scottie Scheffler's dominant playoff performance, the FedEx Cup ranking system, Rory McIlroy's early playoff struggles, the US Amateur and some of the emerging players worth keeping an eye on. Then things get a lot closer to home. Pete talks through a brutal day on the greens at Oatlands — including a four-putt that he is still having nightmares about — before explaining why he's switched back to his LAB putter with a new SuperStroke grip. James breaks down why putting can be so heavily influenced by perception, feel and confidence, and why changing something as simple as a grip can completely change how a putter performs for an individual golfer. The boys then tackle one of the biggest problems with amateur practice: going to the driving range and simply smashing balls. James explains what a professional range session with purpose actually looks like, why you should have a goal before you start hitting, and why hitting 100 balls as quickly as possible probably isn't the practice you think it is. They also discuss whether golfers should wear headphones while practising, the difference between a serious practice environment and a busy range like Moore Park, and why simply hitting more balls doesn't necessarily mean you're getting better. And then there's golf social media. Pete and James talk about why golfers are constantly posting their best shots, why showing the bad ones can actually make your content more relatable, and how easily golf content can create unrealistic expectations about what the average golfer should be capable of. Pete even admits to claiming a 245-metre drive that may or may not have received some assistance from a sprinkler. 😂 Finally, James introduces Pete's first official Golf Rehab challenge. For the next week, Pete has to stick with ONE putter and complete a specific six-foot putting drill designed to improve face control and start line. No changing putters. No excuses. No escaping the challenge. We'll find out next week whether it actually works. Golf Rehab isn't about recovering from golf. It's accepting that none of us ever will. 🎧 Subscribe to Golf Rehab and follow the journey as Pete tries to take his game from single figures to scratch — with James attempting to keep him on track along the way. send us a message

Welcome to Golf Rehab I Episode 1: The Support Group for Golfers

Welcome to the very first episode of Golf Rehab — the support group for golfers who know they should probably stop changing clubs, chasing swing fixes and blaming their equipment… but never actually do. Golf Rehab was born from the conversations Pete and James were already having about golf. James is a scratch golfer, professional club fitter and golf industry insider. Pete is a 51-year-old single-figure golfer chasing scratch, content creator and, like most golfers, permanently convinced that the next change might finally be the answer. In this first episode, we introduce ourselves, explain why we started Golf Rehab and talk about what we want this podcast to become. This isn't a golf instruction podcast. It's not an equipment review show. And we're not here to tell you what clubs you should buy. It's two golfers with very different perspectives having the conversations golfers actually have after a round — the equipment, the obsession, the frustrations, the myths, the mistakes, the improvements and everything that makes this ridiculous game so addictive. We'll be joined in future episodes by tour professionals, coaches, club fitters, industry experts, creators and plenty of other interesting people from the world of golf. There'll be conversations about equipment, technology, club fitting, tour golf, golf travel, the business of golf, amateur golf and the stories behind the people who make the game what it is. Golf Rehab isn't about recovering from golf. It's about accepting that none of us ever will. Welcome to the support group.
