Ascent of the West

Ascent of the West is part of a broader movement to revitalize and reorient the West toward ascent — toward a better culture, narrative, and paradigm of progress. We love life and affirm the goodness of man and reality, and we repudiate the modern view of man's insignificance and impotence. We oppose the culture of critique and the burgeoning mood of decline, with its attendant defeatism and despair. We refuse the darkness of death and decline, its guilt and shame, and turn now, innocent and proud, our heads lifted high, toward the light of life, toward a new day and a radically better world.
