The Untypical Bikers Podcast is for anyone who loves motorbikes. Hosted by Liz and Dazza, it's a podcast that brings together two very different perspectives on life on two wheels. Between them have over 40 years experience of bikes. 40 of those do belong to Dazza and Liz is playing catch up. Dazza has been riding since he was 14. Over the last 40 years he's owned around 30 bikes, from off roaders and sports bikes to cruisers, and even ran his own motorcycle workshop. His latest addition to the garage is a Moto Guzzi. If there's a biking story to tell, there's a good chance Dazza has lived it. He's also a bit of bike geek and tell what bike it is by the sound! Liz's journey has been different. Always fascinated by motorbikes but, like many women, never felt like a world she belonged in. She didn't know any bikers and it all felt a bit out of reach. Then she met Dazza, had her first ride on the back of a bike and, thanks to what she jokingly calls a midlife crisis, decided she wanted to ride her own. Together they'll be chatting about all things biking. From choosing your first bike, riding gear and road trips to biker culture, confidence, maintenance and everything in between. Liz asks the questions that newer riders, returning riders and the bike curious are often thinking, while Dazza brings decades of experience, stories and just the right amount of bike nerdiness for the riders that have been around a bit longer. Expect honest conversations, plenty of laughs, regular features including Liz's Learning and Dazza's Nerdy Minute, listener questions and stories, and guests from across the biking community.
