The Leadership Workshop

Welcome to The Leadership Workshop — practical, biblical conversations designed to help ministry leaders lead with wisdom, balance, and purpose. I’m Pastor Erick Knight, Senior Pastor of Victory Baptist Church in Copperas Cove, Texas. For more than 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving in ministry as a pastor, missionary, biblical counselor, college instructor, and mentor to ministry leaders. Before entering full-time ministry, I served 13 years in the United States Army, including service as a Special Agent with the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID). Over the years, I’ve learned that effective ministry leadership requires more than having the right convictions. It takes wisdom to know how to lead people, build teams, handle problems, develop leaders, navigate change, and keep ministry biblically balanced. That’s the purpose of The Leadership Workshop. This channel is about the practical side of Christian leadership—examining the lessons Scripture teaches us and applying them to the real situations pastors and ministry leaders face every week. We’ll talk about leadership, delegation, staff development, church growth, mentoring, counseling, conflict, communication, ministry philosophy, and the challenge of maintaining biblical balance in a constantly changing world.
