Ohio State's Offense Has Been Good, Despite Loud Issues!

Buckeye Nation may have its concerns, but Ohio State’s offense receives mid-season grades, with Julian Sayin’s quarterback play landing at a C+ after uneven performances and historic connections with Jeremiah Smith. Wide receivers shine thanks to Smith’s A+ production, while Devin McCuin and Brandon Inniss struggle to meet preseason expectations, and Chris Henry Jr. flashes potential for a breakout role. Running backs earn a B- for consistent yardage, though explosive plays are lacking, and the tight ends’ D+ grade underscores blocking woes that have directly stalled red zone drives. The offensive line’s C- reflects “loud” mistakes, most notably the injury to Sayin, despite otherwise steady play. Can the Buckeyes solve blocking issues and unlock more explosive plays as the season heats up, or will persistent miscues limit their championship ambitions? Support us by supporting our sponsors! Julian Sayin May Be Done for Good at Ohio State...

Julian Sayin’s future as the Ohio State Buckeyes’ quarterback hangs in the balance after a potentially season-ending injury. Will Sayin ever return to his dominant, accurate self, or does his absence open the door for Luke Fahey or even a transfer portal contender to claim the starting job in 2027?  Redshirt strategies are thrown out the window by the NCAA’s new 5-for-5 eligibility rule, putting an end to preserving freshmen like Legend Bey or Khary Wilder for extra seasons. With injuries no longer affording extra years, the clock is ticking for every Buckeye.  Support us by supporting our sponsors! Kalshi Today's hit is sponsored by Kalshi. Which New Starting QB Ohio State Should Choose: Luke Fahey or Tavien St. Clair

Ohio State faces a pivotal quarterback decision as Julian Sayin is likely out for the regular season, thrusting backups Luke Fahey and Tavien St. Clair into the spotlight. With the Buckeyes’ offensive identity hanging in the balance, questions loom over whether Fahey’s pocket awareness and game management or St. Clair’s dynamic arm strength and athletic frame best equip the team for the challenges ahead. Fahey’s knack for quick passes and mobility could ease pressure on a shaky offensive line, but his lack of size and elite arm strength may prove limiting. Meanwhile, St. Clair brings all the prototypical tools, standing 6'4", built to withstand pressure, and boasting a cannon arm, but his inexperience and inconsistency raise doubts. Should Ryan Day bet on steady execution or high-risk, high-reward potential as Ohio State’s season hangs in the balance? Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. What Losing Ja'Kobi Jackson Means for Ohio State...

Ohio State faces a pivotal stretch after losing starting running back Ja'kobi Jackson to foot surgery, with his return uncertain for the regular season. Bo Jackson now steps into the RB1 role, tasked with leading the Buckeyes’ ground attack as they chase a national championship with a backup quarterback. Can Isaiah West and Legend Bey provide the consistency and playmaking needed to keep Ohio State’s offense on track? On defense, freshman sensation Jay Timmons returned from injury to dominate against Indiana, racking up seven tackles, key pass deflections, and a forced fumble. His presence transforms the Buckeyes’ secondary, giving Ohio State confidence against top-tier opponents. Will Timmons’ emergence keep the Buckeyes’ championship hopes alive amid mounting injuries? Jeremiah Smith is Getting HOSED Every Week in College Football!

Jeremiah Smith continues to dominate for the Ohio State Buckeyes, yet referees seem to ignore repeated pass interference against him. Despite clear contact and viral clips from the Indiana game, Smith never complains, showcasing resilience rarely seen in college football.  Elsewhere, Curt Cignetti's coaching decisions come under scrutiny after a questionable 55-yard field goal attempt exposes surprising oversight in a high-stakes matchup against Ohio State. With Cignetti suddenly ranked among top coaches following Indiana’s resurgence, debate grows over whether he deserves to leapfrog proven names like Ryan Day and Kirby Smart.  Support us by supporting our sponsors! Buckeye Fans: "Nobody Is Good Enough to Play QB at Ohio State"

Ohio State faces a critical test as quarterback Julian Sayin is sidelined indefinitely, fueling debate about whether anyone is truly good enough to lead the Buckeyes under center. With backup Luke Fahey set to step in, fans are already voicing strong opinions about the team's prospects, questioning whether Fahey or even Tavien St. Clair can keep Ohio State’s championship hopes alive. Meanwhile, Ohio State's standing in the latest college football power rankings, second behind Miami, raises eyebrows, especially as Miami's unimpressive schedule contrasts with the Buckeyes’ more formidable opponents. Can Fahey deliver an upset against USC and prove the Buckeyes still belong at the top? As the spotlight shifts, every pass, interception, and ranking debate intensifies the pressure on Ohio State’s quarterback carousel. Support us by supporting our sponsors! Ohio State's Secondary Were the Best Players on the Field vs. Indiana!

Ohio State’s defense powered its win over Indiana, showcasing an elite secondary that suffocated the Hoosiers’ run game and limited their dynamic backs to just 73 yards on 2.5 yards per carry. Eddrick Houston, John Walker, and Kenyatta Jackson battled injuries up front, yet the Buckeyes' defensive line earned top marks. The linebackers locked down Indiana’s attack, forcing Josh Hoover into uncomfortable passing scenarios where he struggled to capitalize. Jay Timmons, Jaylen McClain, and Earl Little emerged as stars at safety, delivering crucial tackles and game-changing plays, including a forced sack fumble. Cornerbacks shut down top receivers in man coverage, allowing Ohio State to blitz aggressively despite some late-game scares from backup defenders. Special teams also delivered an A-level performance, rounding out a game defined by defensive excellence and the Buckeyes’ ability to control every phase against Indiana’s offense.
