Library Launchpad Ep 4- DTOYs Show Library Love

Welcome to Episode 4 of Library Launchpad, the official podcast of FAME, the Florida Association for Media in Education. This podcast is meant to be a place where we can launch ideas by sharing best practices, highlighting innovative programs, and providing Professional development for librarians in Florida and beyond! Whether you are a veteran media specialist, first year librarian, and administrator, or just a person who loves the library, we are glad you are here! Mission Report: Our guests today are the 2027 Florida District Teachers of the Year. As the 2027 Baker County District Teacher of the Year, our host recently attended a two-day session of the Florida Lead Teacher Network. While there the District Teachers of the Year in the 2027 cohort were able share some of their favorite books, shout out to amazing librarians from their past and present, and tell just how important libraries are to them. The Library Launchpad really appreciates the time they took out of their day to share the library love. I know everyone at FAME would agree when we say, "Thank you, Florida's 2027 District Teachers of the Year!"
