    Jennifer's Body

Amanda Seyfried. Megan Fox. Diablo Cody… What else do you people want?! ‘Jennifer’s Body’ was a movie the whole world was scared to like when it first came out, so now Nate and Pete are celebrating Karyn Kusama’s cult classic. The boys break down the chokehold Megan Fox had on middle school boys back in 2009, why Diablo Cody is the rare screenwriting auteur, actually, and what they think of the recently announced: ‘Jennifer’s Body 2.’ Come for the discussion about one of cinema’s greatest horror comedies; stay for Nate mourning the fact that he never got ‘Babygirl’d by Amy Sedaris. Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.

    Gossip Boys: Part One

As Lady Gaga once said: “That’s gossip!” Love it or hate it, we ALL do it, so this week Nate and Pete are breaking down gossip. The pros, the cons, the kind we love, and the type we can’t stand: these boys are getting into it all and asking you for yours! Send your JUICIEST gossip to goingsoftpod@gmail.com (don’t worry we’ll keep it anonymous) and we’ll chat all about it on an upcoming episode! Xoxo. The Soft Boys. Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.

Tinashe, Slayyyter, and Why We’re NOT Talking About Verity

Tinashe’s new album ‘Popstar’ got Nate pregnant and that’s just ONE of the things he and Pete get into in this week’s jam-packed new episode! Slayyyter MIGHT soon release ‘WOR$T MAN IN AMERICA,’ Romy Mars still wants back ‘The Rage,’ and audiobooks simply are not reading! … unless they are… the boys really can’t figure it out. They get into all of that and more this week… but they absolutely REFUSE to release a whole episode about Colleen Hoover’s ‘Verity.’ Listen now and find out why! Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.

Will Taylor Swift Ever Be GREAT Again?

Taylor Swift just put out ‘The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore,’ and Nate and Pete have thoughts, so hear these boys out before the Swifites dox them into oblivion! Come for some spicy ‘Cleveland!’ discourse, but stay for Olivia Rodrigo’s Baja Blast and a lengthy history lesson on the great queen of Sweden, Tove Lo. Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.

Miley Cyrus, Stella Lefty and Troye Sivan ‘Party’ Post-Game

Gracie Abrams is George W. Bush. Stella Lefty is Donald Trump. This is just one of the many indisputable facts Nate and Pete discover in this epic double episode of ‘Going Soft.’ Miley Cyrus just put out her 10th studio album with ‘Bass Persuades,’ so the boys are looking back on her iconic career from ‘Hannah Montana’ to ‘Used To Be Young.’ They get into it all! Plus, from Channing Tatum’s (alleged) burner Instagram account and Troye Sivan’s new ‘Party’ music video to Madonna’s ‘Confessions II’ and the rising star that is Eli, Nate and Pete really don’t leave any stone unturned in this extra special episode! Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.

Crying (In the Club and Otherwise)

‘Boys Don’t Cry,’ but Pete and Nate just might, in this very emotional episode of ‘Going Soft.’ From the death of Dolly Parton to Oscar-worthy acting from Toni Collette, the boys share what makes them get a little misty-eyed, and break down why society doesn’t want them to. Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.

Practical Magic (and the Sisterhood We Found Along the Way :)

‘Practical Magic 2’ is about to hit theaters, so Nate and Pete are pouring up some Midnight Margaritas (or, in their case, 7 pm Celsiuses) and studying up on the 1998 original. The Soft Sisters share what they love about this “no plot just vibes” magical masterpiece, and explain why it hits so much harder on a rewatch. Nate also clarifies his Pop Girl Mount Rushmore (this time including Lorde) and teaches a dissertation on the Lana Del Rey x Ethel Cain beef one year later, before Pete asks the question everyone is dying to know: would you date bionic Jill Biden? Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.

Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Stan War

Olivia Rodrigo, Queen of Daisy Chain Fields, if you have no stans we’re… you know where we’re going with this. It’s only the second episode of Going Soft, but for some reason Pete felt comfortable challenging Nate to an Olivia Stan War… talk about a bad idea, right? Between Chappell, Olivia, Ariana Grande and Charli XCX, the boys carve out their pop girl Mount Rushmore, and get to the bottom of why Nate would make an ideal housewife on a future season of ‘The Traitors.’ Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.
