It's not surprising that Josh Allen keeps doing incredible things, and somehow, he still finds ways to stun Ryan & Prescott again and again. The Bills didn't showcase their best in a 33-30 win over the Raiders on Sunday. Thank goodness for JA17, James Cook, and the offense for doing enough to overcome the team's lackluster defense. The Bills now sit at 5-1 heading into their bye week, but there's still plenty to improve on. The trade deadline is fast approaching, and the Bills need reinforcements. Ryan & Prescott go over the ways the defense is letting the team down and pinpoint the biggest problem areas. They wrap up the show by going over the rest of Week 6 in the NFL before spending the final minutes discussing the Sabres after a productive week against Atlantic Division rivals. With the Bills on their bye week, the show will be opening up the mailbag next week. Patrons can send questions to the fellas to be answered on the show. RoostCast 462: Four Hours to Amarillo

The Bills played in the game of the year again, only this time they won! Prescott is out foraging in the Permian Basin this week, but did manage to get enough juice out of his hotel wifi to record with Ryan. Apologies for any slight gaps where audio seems a tiny bit off. After back-to-back poor performances by his own lofty standard, Josh Allen practically dragged the Bills over the line all by himself in a wild 37-34 OT win at the LA Rams on Monday night. There was a ton of good, and a ton of bad to digest from this one. It starts and ends with JA17, but there's much to discuss involving James Cook, Greg Rousseau, Joe Brady and his lack of situational awareness, the Bills defense, Sean McVay's hubris, and then some! Once Bills/Rams is properly analyzed, Prescott & Ryan then take a look around the rest of Week 5 in the NFL. There was a lot of dumb football played over the weekend, and even while the Bills game has occupied a ton of brainspace since, there's plenty of LMAOz to go around. The show ends with a quick Sabres chat. There probably would have been more, but, and this bears repeating, the Bills won the Game of The Year in the NFL. There will be plenty of time for Sabres Chat soon enough. Friendly reminder, the Goose's Roost records a preview episode before every Bills game. Sign up today at patreon.com/thegoosesroost for as little as $1 a month to get the bonus episode. We have less than ten (10) SHOOT! mini pennants from Oxford Pennant for those on the $5-a-month tier.
