    Should men ever be vulnerable with women? Does opening up make you look weak, lose respect or give someone ammunition to use against you later? In this episode of Desire Hot Seat, I put the advice “never be vulnerable” to the test. We look at where this idea comes from, why it feels convincing to men who have been hurt before and whether emotional shutdown actually protects relationships or slowly hollows them out. We’ll talk about hypergamy, masculinity, emotional suppression, trust and the difference between being vulnerable with a partner versus making a partner responsible for your emotions.
