    Can we be honest about motherhood for a moment? You can love your children deeply and still feel exhausted. You can be grateful to be a mother and still miss the woman you were before motherhood. You can need a break, feel overwhelmed, struggle with your changing body, or even wonder what life would have looked like if you had only yourself to take care of. None of those thoughts automatically make you a bad mother. They make you human. In this first episode of Real Talk with Bridgette, we’re having an honest conversation about the side of motherhood we don’t talk about enough — losing yourself, having to show up even when you’re falling apart, carrying the mental and emotional load, and the guilt mothers sometimes feel for simply admitting, “This is hard.” Choosing motherhood doesn’t mean choosing to never struggle. Sometimes Mom needs someone to remind her: you’re a person too. You deserve to breathe. ❤️
