The Side of Billie You Don't Know

What happens when the thing that makes you different becomes your greatest strength? And how much power should we allow other people's opinions to have over our lives? In this episode of Stronger with Sophie, Sophie and Jimmy explore the story of Grammy-winning singer Billie Eilish and her experience living with Tourette syndrome. Despite growing up with a condition that causes involuntary tics, Billie has built an extraordinary career in the public eye, showing that being different does not have to limit what you can accomplish. Sophie and Jimmy discuss the challenges of dealing with public judgment, overcoming insecurities, and refusing to let circumstances outside of your control determine your future. They also share personal experiences, including Jimmy's journey from being a convicted felon to becoming a successful attorney and Sophie's experience navigating embarrassment and the opinions of her classmates. Through Billie's story and their own experiences, Sophie and Jimmy explore an important lesson: the challenges we face can ultimately become our greatest strengths. Rather than allowing fear, insecurity, or other people's perceptions to hold us back, we can choose to embrace our experiences and continue pursuing our goals. This episode is a conversation about self-confidence, resilience, overcoming judgment, and learning to embrace the things that make us different. “What Does It Mean to Be a Man? | Sophie & Jimmy Fasig Discuss the Cornell Allegations”

What does it really mean to be a man? And what can we learn as a society from devastating cases of sexual assault  In this episode of Stronger with Sophie, Sophie and Jimmy have a difficult but important conversation about the allegations surrounding a reported sexual assault involving Cornell University fraternity members. They discuss consent, accountability, respect for women, the messages young women are often taught about protecting themselves, and what young men need to understand about respect, responsibility, and personal values.
