    Meet Alana Hurov. In this episode, Alana shares her career journey, which began in journalism and included roles in radio, television, and media production across Canada and England. She described how she founded the Niagara 5000 automotive event after organizing a successful McLaren Street Party during COVID, and the event is now entering its third year with plans for a banner event on September 18th and 19th.  Alana discussed her background in the health and fitness industry, explaining how she started Hotel Yoga and Fitness after recovering from a concussion in 2009. She described growing the company to work with luxury hotels like Shangri-La, Ritz, Westin, and Fairmont, eventually expanding to Niagara where she managed about 100 instructors. The conversation ended with Paul preparing to discuss the spark that led to starting Niagara 5000 and mentioning Ferrari's involvement.Niagara 5000. She explained that the spark for starting the Niagara 5000 event came from hosting a successful McLaren street party, where she experienced the joy of bringing people together around cars and creating memorable experiences. She described how her background as a television producer influenced her approach to creating a cinematic event experience, and her desire to give back to the Niagara region where she lives with her daughter. The event aims to provide a "wow experience" through beautiful cars, planes, wine, food, boats, and hospitality, with proceeds going to charity. Alana explained the charity event planned for September 18th to benefit McMaster Children's Hospital, where his daughter received treatment for juvenile idiopathic arthritis. The event will feature a display of 100 supercars and vintage cars at Fallsview Casino, followed by a backyard barbecue and a supercar parade on the parkway in front of Niagara Falls. The event aims to raise $30,000 for the hospital, with a cost of $300 per car for two people, where $150 goes directly to the hospital and $150 covers costs. Alana discussed an upcoming supercar event at Niagara Falls on September 18th and 19th that will feature high-speed runs, autocross courses, and displays of luxury vehicles, planes, and boats.
