Kidnap

I was kidnapped to Saudi Arabia as a child. Naturally, I turned the experience into a one-woman comedy show. Then something unexpected happened. Other people who’d been kidnapped as children started finding me. So this is where the conversation carries on. I’m a writer, actor and trained counsellor, which means I’m professionally qualified to sit with difficult feelings and personally qualified to make inappropriate jokes about them. I’ll tell you mine. I want to hear yours. No trauma porn. No inspirational music swelling underneath. Probably some swearing.
