I’m 62, menopausal, married, a mother—and navigating a chapter of life nobody really prepares you for. Aging. Marriage. Sex. Friendships. Family. Changing bodies. Caregiving. Loss. Reinvention. And all the ridiculous, painful, funny, wonderful shit in between. This isn’t a podcast about aging gracefully. It’s about aging honestly. Some weeks we’ll laugh. Some weeks we’ll get pissed off. Some weeks we may cry. But we’re going to talk about the things women our age are actually thinking—and don’t always say out loud. No experts telling us how we should feel.     In this episode, I explain why I chose the name Jane Doe  - and why that name means so much more to me than anonymity. Years ago, during a domestic violence case, I was stripped of my actual name and was identified in my court case as "Jane Doe".
