Now its crew find themselves witnessing a disaster that history remembers all too well: the catastrophic collapse of the Bilberry Reservoir. As the flood tears through the valley, the crew face an impossible choice. Can they intervene without changing history — and if they do, who will they save? The Solkas is the first commercial vessel fitted with UESS’s experimental Chronicle – a technology designed to transform interplanetary travel.  Cole, lead engineer of the Chronocoil program, disappears during the development of technology that could change humanity’s future forever.   Events begin to suggest that the Chronocoil may be capable of something far more extraordinary than anyone is prepared to admit. Some journeys take you across space. Others take you somewhere else entirely.
