Spiritual CEO

Tenille Bentley & Marnie LeFevre

Spiritual CEO is a podcast about what happens when we take the inner life of a leader as seriously as the outer one. Hosted by longtime friends Marnie LeFevre and Tenille Bentley. Two seasoned businesswomen with more than 20 years’ experience each, and a side of woo-woo they’re finally ready to talk about. Spiritual CEO brings business, spirituality, science and leadership to the same table. Through open and curious conversations with leading thinkers in neuroscience, psychology, human potential, wellbeing and ancient wisdom, we explore intuition, self-knowledge, emotional wisdom, the nervous system, spirituality, connection and some of the experiences that don’t always fit neatly into the traditional conversations about business and leadership. We don’t have the answers, and we’re not here to tell you what to believe. We’re curious. So we’re having the conversations, asking the questions and sharing what we discover along the way. Because perhaps becoming a better leader isn’t always about knowing more. Perhaps it’s also about knowing ourselves better.  For the leader you’re becoming, and the human you’re remembering. Paul Chek: What If Everything You Believe About God, the Soul and Yourself Is Wrong?

From childhood trauma and out-of-body experiences to soul healing, unconditional love and the mystery of who we really are.  What if the person you think you are is only a small part of who you really are? Paul Chek has spent more than 40 years exploring the connection between physical health, emotional healing and spiritual development. But behind his work as a world-renowned holistic health educator is a deeply personal story of childhood trauma, extraordinary spiritual experiences and a lifelong search to understand the nature of existence. In this conversation, Paul joins Marnie and Tenille to explore everything from astral travel and soul fragmentation to reincarnation, the divine feminine and what it actually means to experience unconditional love. We also challenge a few ideas along the way, particularly around masculine and feminine energy, enlightenment and whether women have historically experienced spirituality differently from men. And as the conversation unfolds, Paul shares his concerns about humanity's growing disconnection from nature, why he believes we're facing a collective spiritual turning point, and the one thing he hopes people take away from his life's work: a deeper capacity to love themselves. In this episode, we explore: How childhood trauma shaped Paul's spiritual journeyHis experiences with astral travel, remote viewing and past livesSoul fragmentation, shadow work and healing emotional woundsWhy Paul believes God is far more mysterious than religion suggestsMasculine and feminine energy, and whether enlightenment looks different for womenHumanity's disconnection from nature and our responsibility for what we createWhy spiritual growth sometimes requires letting go of everything we think we knowSelf-forgiveness, unconditional love and learning to embrace who we areThis is a big, expansive conversation that may challenge some of your beliefs, open up a few new questions, and leave you looking at yourself and the world a little differently. Don Miguel Ruiz: Why Your Body Should Be the Love of Your Life

The Four Agreements author on self-love, relationships, authenticity and why learning to love yourself changes everything. Don Miguel Ruiz, bestselling author of The Four Agreements, joins Spiritual CEO for a conversation about love, identity, authenticity and what it means to live with greater awareness. Drawing on the Toltec wisdom that has inspired millions around the world, Don Miguel explores why so much of what we call love comes with conditions — including the love we give ourselves — and why our relationship with ourselves shapes the relationships we accept from everyone else. One idea stopped us in our tracks: your body should be the love of your life. It is the one physical relationship that stays with you for your entire life. Yet we judge it, punish it, criticise it and expect it to become something different before we decide it deserves our love. We also explore authenticity, why Don Miguel says you shouldn’t automatically believe other people — or even yourself — and the deceptively simple wisdom behind The Four Agreements: be impeccable with your word, don’t take anything personally, don’t make assumptions and always do your best. In this episode: Why we learn to love ourselves with conditionsHow self-love affects the relationships we chooseWhy your tolerance of poor treatment can reflect how you treat yourselfWhy your body may be the most important relationship of your lifeWhat authenticity actually meansWhy awareness matters more than trying to appear authenticThe Four Agreements and how they apply to everyday life and leadershipDon Miguel’s answer to: If your soul were the CEO of your life, what would it want you to know?A beautiful, surprisingly practical conversation about learning to question the stories in your mind and coming back to yourself. Rabia Siddique: What Happens When You Stop Trusting Yourself?

Content note: This conversation includes references to trauma, abuse, domestic violence and mental health. Please listen with care. What happens when your trust in the people, systems, and eventually yourself, is broken? International human rights lawyer, humanitarian, former British Army officer, hostage survivor and Equal Justice author Rabia Siddique joins Marnie LeFevre and Tenille Bentley for a powerful conversation about trust, courage and leadership from the inside out. Rabia’s extraordinary story has taken her from being held hostage at gunpoint in Iraq to taking on the British government after being silenced and discriminated against, and later rebuilding her life through experiences of trauma, loss and domestic violence. But this conversation isn’t simply about what happened to her. It’s about what she discovered within herself because of it. Rabia talks candidly about the difference between serving others and using service to avoid ourselves, why self-trust sits at the heart of leadership, and how learning to lead from love, values and the feminine changed the way she moves through the world. We explore courage when courage is no longer optional, rebuilding trust after betrayal, self-forgiveness and self-compassion, feminine and masculine leadership, purpose over ego, and what it really means to lead from your soul. And Rabia leaves us with a beautiful idea: Leadership is love in action. Not a title. Not a performance. But the courage to stay open, choose trust over fear and keep coming home to truth, purpose and presence. Dr Bruce Lipton: Are Your Thoughts Changing Your Biology?

What if your subconscious thoughts are shaping more of your body, behaviour and life than you realise? In this episode of Spiritual CEO, we sit down with Dr Bruce Lipton, stem cell biologist and bestselling author of The Biology of Belief, to explore epigenetics, subconscious programming and the mind-body connection — and what they might tell us about the relationship between our thoughts, beliefs, behaviour and biology. Bruce’s work challenges the idea that our genes alone determine our fate. We explore how environment, perception and stress interact with biology, and why the subconscious beliefs we’ve accumulated throughout our lives can continue running the show long after we consciously understand them.  Spiritual CEO Episode 4 Publish… But if so much of our behaviour is subconscious, can we actually change it? We talk about the thought-result loop, why simply recognising an old pattern may not be enough to shift it, and the methods Bruce discusses for reprogramming subconscious beliefs, including hypnosis, repetition and energy psychology. We also explore the bigger — and sometimes uncomfortable — question behind this conversation: if our thoughts, beliefs and emotional environment can influence the body, where does personal responsibility end and blame begin? Because recognising a relationship between mind and body does not mean illness is a personal failure. This conversation is an invitation to get curious about what may be happening beneath the surface — without turning healing into another thing we’re somehow getting wrong. That distinction is explicitly part of the episode framing in the publishing notes.  Spiritual CEO Episode 4 Publish… In this episode, we explore: What epigenetics tells us about genes, environment, stress and beliefHow subconscious programming can influence our behaviourWhy old stories can keep running even when we consciously know betterThe thought-result loop and the beliefs operating beneath our awarenessHypnosis, repetition and energy psychology as approaches to subconscious reprogrammingThe relationship between our thoughts, beliefs and the bodyMorning and evening practices that may support the nervous systemWhat all of this might mean for the way we live, work and leadABOUT DR BRUCE LIPTON Dr Bruce Lipton is a stem cell biologist and bestselling author of The Biology of Belief. Jake Loreto: Can Breathwork Really Release Your Stress and Your Trauma?

Can breathwork really help release the stress and trauma we carry in our bodies? And what actually happens when we stop analysing, controlling and pushing through, and simply breathe deeply? In this episode of Spiritual CEO, hosts Tenille Bentley and Marnie LeFevre sit down with breathwork and trauma release practitioner Jake Loreto for a deeply personal conversation about stress, anxiety, emotional release, nervous system regulation and the surprising power of the breath. Jake’s own journey into breathwork began at one of the lowest points of his life. Despite appearing successful on the outside, he was experiencing debilitating anxiety, panic attacks, depression and intrusive thoughts. He tried almost everything he could find before someone suggested breathwork, an idea he initially dismissed as little more than breathing exercises.   Then his first breathwork session changed something. For the first time in more than a year, Jake experienced a period without anxiety, depression or panic attacks. It wasn’t the end of his healing, but it gave him hope, and began a journey that would eventually lead him to become a practitioner himself.  Marnie and Tenille also share their own very different experiences doing breathwork with Jake, from an intense emotional release to a much gentler, peaceful experience, opening up a bigger conversation about what our bodies may be holding, why no two experiences look the same, and whether healing always needs to be intense to be powerful.  In this conversation, we explore: • How breathwork may support stress and emotional release  • Jake’s personal experience with anxiety, panic attacks, depression and intrusive thoughts  • What can happen physically and emotionally during breathwork  • Stress, trauma and nervous system regulation  • Why no two breathwork experiences are the same  • The importance of safety when doing deeper somatic work  • Surrendering versus trying to force an outcome  • Breathwork, self-awareness and leadership  • What changes when we begin listening to the body rather than continually pushing through it At the heart of Jake’s approach is something surprisingly simple: safety. Rather than trying to fix people or force a particular outcome, he believes the role of the practitioner is to create enough safety for people to surrender to whatever they’re ready to experience.  And perhaps there’s something in that for leadership too. Because if we’re carrying stress, emotions and old protective patterns into the way we work and lead, what changes when we finally give ourselves permission to put some of them down? ABOUT JAKE LORETO Jake Loreto is a certified Breathwork and Trauma Release Practitioner, Kinesiologist and Bowen Therapist. Drawing on his own experience with anxiety, panic attacks and depression, he now creates emotionally safe spaces for somatic healing, nervous system regulation and deeper emotional release.  CONNECT WITH JAKE Website:  https://thebreathmovement.com.au/ Instagram:  https://www.instagram.com/jakeloreto/ RESOURCES MENTIONED Ananda Mandala Meditation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91onhUryZn8 We probably should have stopped talking by now. Dr John Demartini: What If the Worst Thing That Happened to You Wasn’t the Whole Story?

In this episode of Spiritual CEO, Dr John Demartini joins us for a conversation about what sits underneath the stories we tell ourselves about our lives — particularly the painful ones. We explore the idea of hidden order: that the experiences we label as unfair, devastating or simply wrong may look very different when we widen the lens. And that doesn’t mean pretending pain wasn’t painful. It means asking what else might be there. For Tenille, this conversation gets personal as she reflects on the experiences that eventually led to the creation of The Global Good Foundation, and what can happen when pain stops being the whole story and becomes part of something larger. We also get into values — why what you actually value can be very different from what you think you should value — and how that hierarchy influences the way you lead, make money, build relationships and make decisions. We cover: • The hidden order inside experiences that feel chaotic, painful or unfair • Why your hierarchy of values influences almost every area of your life • The difference between who you really are and who you think you should be • What authenticity actually looks like in leadership • The Demartini Method and Breakthrough Experience • How challenge can become service without pretending the challenge didn’t hurt This is a conversation about the story underneath the story — and what becomes possible when you’re willing to look for it. Intuition in Leadership: Should You Own It or Will People Call You Crazy?

We’re taught to trust data, strategy and logic. But what about the things we know before we can explain why? We explore intuition in this podcast episode and why you should own yours. Intuition in leadership begins with a question: can you hear yourself clearly enough to trust the next right step? In the first episode of Spiritual CEO, Tenille Bentley and Marnie LeFevre open the conversation behind the podcast. They talk about leading from the inside out, knowing yourself before you lead others, and making room for science, spirituality, logic, body wisdom and honest self-reflection. Tenille shares what shifted after years of 16 to 18-hour days, burnout and a version of success that looked right on paper but left her exhausted. Marnie shares the panic attack on a busy Los Angeles freeway that forced her to listen to the nudge she had ignored for years. Together, they ask where intuition belongs in business and how logic can help turn the first signal into a practical next step. We cover Why high performance doesn’t automatically prepare someone for leadership. How intuition, spirituality and emotional intelligence can sit inside real business decisions. What burnout, anxiety and misalignment can be trying to tell us.Small ways to practise listening to the body, including “light or heavy,” the body pendulum and 5 minutes of quiet.About your hosts Tenille Bentley and Marnie LeFevre are the co-hosts of Spiritual CEO. Tenille brings decades of experience in business, leadership and social impact, alongside deep expertise in emotional intelligence, mindfulness and wellbeing.
