Anviti | Books • Ideas • Dialogue Anviti is an intellectual dialogue series by Sahitya Ganga, devoted to books, ideas, literature, philosophy, society, history, culture, and important contemporary questions. The purpose of this series is not merely to introduce ideas, but to explore their background, arguments, contradictions, and relevance to the present. Through conversations with scholars, teachers, writers, researchers, and thinkers, Anviti seeks to engage with questions that shape our understanding of knowledge, society, culture, and human experience. The word “Anviti” suggests connection, coherence, and the search for relationships between meanings, ideas, and contexts. In that spirit, the series does not aim to impose predetermined conclusions. Instead, it creates space for thoughtful questioning, critical reflection, disagreement, and meaningful dialogue. Each episode may begin with a significant book, a philosophical tradition, a literary text, a historical debate, or a complex issue of our time. The attempt is to move beyond superficial discussion and examine how ideas emerge, interact, conflict, and continue to influence the present. Anviti believes that intellectual life grows through conversation. Agreement is not compulsory, and disagreement is not a breakdown of dialogue. Questions themselves often open new ways of thinking. Through this series, Sahitya Ganga: Language, Literature and Ideas seeks to nurture a culture of serious yet accessible intellectual conversation.
